I know a link between ACIM and Thomas. Gary Renard, an ACIM teacher and the author of the disappaerance of the universe books, , claims to have been Thomas in a previous life.
I remember Gary from that lifetime,.. because I was Mary. 😂😂😂 He was watching the stars every night and forgiving them for what they didn’t do. Gary does it still now with politicians,.. never just managing to go all the way,…by stopping the (bad) news addiction. Being a famous person in some other life than what appears to be now still manages to fool some even temporarily. Unfortunately so many of these books about Acim are mostly interpretations of interpretations of Acim and are mostly a disservice to humanity appearing to be useful, filling already overloaded minds with more nonsense as if more info is better So were the confused disciples. Some pple heard them say stuff they thought they said and wrote down what they thought they said that Jesus said. Interpretations of interpretations. Same all. Now look at the mess it created,… there is so much spiritual nonsense that is so far from an experience of Unity it’s amazing. 😮 funny how the dude sounds just like Gary except way faster making up theology which we know is nothing but a delaying maneuver appearing as useful.

I can't come at his story but there are examples of the practical application of course principles that help with understanding. You know, jesus writing a book in the 20th century via a channel is a stretch for most people so whilst I am a "doubting Thomas" regarding Gary's claims, I wouldn't bet my life on it.

In this book he indeed discusses The Gospel of Thomas and in his second book called Your Immortal Reality he published the original version of the Gospel of Thomas under the title Pursah's Gospel of Thomas. Rogier Fentener van Vlissingen wrote a great book about The Gospel of Thomas and ACIM called Closing the Circle.
When you say look on the world with the eyes of Christ... this is to lift your eyes to heaven. In the times if Noah, Noah found grace... in the eyes of the Lord is to see that evil (destruction) can be used for good, and is at times fair and just to experience. As Job said, shall we not accept BOTH good and evil at the HAND of GOD? And because the person who wrote that knew that the readers mouth would drop open... added, "and in saying this, Job did not sin with his lips." Your confusion about God is because of the inability to divide God (Elohim) and LORD GOD (YHWH Elohim) into (2) entities that work together as a single entity. The first Sabbath was a rest from what was MADE and what was CREATED. Take a look at Isaiah 45:7 (KJV) to see the contrast. The use of those two words is NOT hendiasys... who should be called the Greek God of Confusion for all intents and purposes. In looking at Isaiah 45:7, I would point out that Adam was 'formed' as light is, and Eve was 'made' as peace is. So if we are genderless in the eyes of God, does that mean homosexuality is not a sin? I had an experience last year and was reborn. I'm still learning and never really knew Jesus or the Bible. My stepson is gay and is a little upset about my new faith. He thinks he's not accepted by God. Just curious about this part of the gospel of Thomas

You don't understand that Gospel at all. It is impossible to understand it without knowing the entire true lost teachings of Jesus, that he revealed only to the Gnostics. It is impossible to understand the meaning of these words, because it's an encrypted Gospel, only to understand with all the teachings of the bible, including ALL the gnostic scriptures, beginning from the gnostic scriptures of Adam and Eve, through all the lost teachings of Nag Hammadi, which are thousands of pages including Pistis Sophia. Without the deep knowledge of this entire huge teachings it's not possible to understand the meaning of this Gospel.
The meaning of the gospel is not understood through intellect alone...it is understood through asking Holy Spirit to help us understand whatever it is that we are Reading. Jesus' teachings are meant to be experiential not cryptic. And if Jesus expected that we needed to have every single piece of paper from the Gospels to understand it...well...noone would ever understand it.. It's easy to understand what the Gospel means when we ask HS and Jesus to help us understand it when we read any of it...we can take it line by line and Ask and Listen and Learn 🙏❤️

My advice is love him ( not the genitalia part not pun intended)the sexual organ doesn’t define WHO we are. If it did then that would be separation.
