napakaganda po ng programa or curriculum ng k-12, ang hiling lang po namin mams/sirs, dagdagan nyo po sana kami... kc hindi po tlga nmin kinakaya ang "focus" na binabanggit nyo po to each learner kung 1: 50-60 ratio po ang teacher-student specially sa public schools....salamat po

Pinoy po ako and a teacher teaching in international school abroad. Some concepts sounded familiar to me.. the Transdiciplinary concept (integration) of the subjects, the backward design(UbD), child-centered, reflective and collaborative, designed for the 21st learner. These are also the principles that drive the PYP curriculum framework (primary years program) by the IBO. Mas maganda kung ang magiging approach ng teacher ay inquiry-driven kesa spoon feeding info.

i am a teacher in a remote areas..how can we developed a child with that 4 21st century skills?we don't even have access for any technology..we don't even have computers or even electricity connection?how can it be applicable in that situation...

my thoughts exactly! DepEd has a good vision as to how to redirect our education system. the plans, i think, would be very beneficial not only for the teachers but also for the students. unfortunately, DepEd doesn't invest in providing each school in the country instructional materials and facilities that can help leverage the good aspects of the kto12 curriculum.
