  • Hello once again,
Today's video is a short clip of my Stuart 10V which I built in 2019 and have finally got round to painting whilst under Covid lockdown here in Ireland.
This is the first run after reassembly once the paint had dried, so there is a slight knocking noise which needs some attention, along with the valve timing.
Also, I haven't shimmed the Drain Cocks, or sealed any of the joints with Loctite 542, so there are a few leaks around the engine fittings which also need attention.
In all, it was very enjoyable watching the engine turning over again after a few weeks in pieces.
Stay safe, and I will see you in a future video.

Did you ever fix the knock? I have the same sound coming from mine.

I did some investigations and decided I had a lot of play between the crosshead to the crank so made a new one. That improved things a lot.
