Talent is definitely not bs. In order to become world class at something you need both talent and lots of hard work. But becoming world class at something is not necessary to succeed in life, getting very good is usually enough and most people have that capability.
To become world class at anything people need to sacrifice other areas of their life usually. A lot of times I think it can degrade the quality of one's life
