this is literally one of the best hyperpop tutorials on yt
Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful
@@VarsityBeats this is **the** best
This is literally a comment from the future
the lyrics are pretty simple, yet they feel so uplifting in a genuine way which i feel is something thats really difficult to convey without sounding cliché. im gonna try making a song like this now, thank you for making this!!!
I just wanna say you are one of the best if not the best and most informative creator on youtube making hyper pop production content. You are so underrated, the credit you deserve will catch up to you! Keep up the great content
thanks! i’m glad you like the videos
absolute slapper again my man, i really appreciate how you teach and the way you come across in your videos is so hard working and likeable (atleast to myself lol), keep it up youre doing great
Thank you! I'm glad you like the videos
I don't even like the song, I just like these videos. they motivate me a lot and that's all need
i’m glad they help!
Bro, your melodies are amazing! Thank you for this video

Thank you!!
this is an a masterpiece!
keep going bro, i really enjoy your tutorials and there's not really any YT produers doing tutorials on this type of stuff. love from manchester, uk
thank you!
very helpful video, thank you, I've always had problems writing lyrics, I hope this helps me
This is an awesome tutorial!
This actually bops great video!
Thanks!!
Great tutorial man 🙌🏻
merry christmas bro! gud video as always
Thank you! 🎄🛷🎅
That's so amazing!!! I'm only halfway in but I love how your video is a mix of music tips and live advice haha, so cool! (When you talked about that wrestling thing I was like ".....huh. Where is this going xD" but it made a lot of sense to me when you explained it :D thanks for sharing your wisdom haha)
Just listened to the finished song and that's FIRE >:O whoa!
dope!
HOW DO YOU DO IT MAN! DAYUM~!!!!!
nice video, merry xmas
Not a big fan of the overly high pitch vocals but other than that I think this sounds amazing!
edit: nvm even the vocals are starting to grow on me
That's the hyperpop effect. Sometimes you'll really not enjoy a particular sound until it gets stuck in your head and opens up so much more material for you
W video educational, inspiring and entertaining
the vocal melody reminds me of water resistant by anamanaguchi
I'm just letting you know I don't skip any ad that comes before or between or after your video :D
New sub🔥🔥🔥
this shit is so good
thanks! I'm glad it's helpful
Holy shit you're a genius
you re a fucking genius
that's great but a more step by step on the music construction would be super cool. How you create a chorus and how you create a verse, that's my struggle. Thousands of loops in my Ableton, 2 songs :(
borrow as much as you can from your favorite songs, that's how I learned
merry xmas
u have inspired me. i will now go and try to make a hyperpop song ?_?
Whered you get the bass preset?! Incredible video as always
i released a free preset pack a couple of videos back! it should be in there
this is really goooooooooooooooood
thanks!
do you know a good free music maker app for pc ? Im a beginner in music but I want to make hyperpop and maybe mix it with edm. how would I learn all this. any books or youtubers tutorial recommendations? thanks
at first when you said 4 chorus i was like wtf is the music about to be 15 minutes long but yeah it was rad thanks for the vid
I'm glad you liked it! :)
could you explain your processing more? esp on the vocals
Do you release music like this or just make beats?
Btw this is really insightful and i think ur great
i have released music in the past! not hyperpop though, link is in the description
Hey I’m curious about how you made your voice sound like that. I don’t dabble in music, I just like hyper pop and am wondering
i love this tutorial
Use Manipulator, you pitch your the voice with it the formant it.
dude could you do a tutorial on your sound design for leads, bass etc please?
I might in the future! I haven't done one yet because I'm not really sure what to explain, like I don't know what would be helpful.
*i need collab with you 💖*
Me sitting in my bedroom using anything I got around me to make a song that I thought would be good and it just sounds like: ksfvkdbkd4hyonpgnhpdfbodsgfogodfogosdfogosdfg
is it possible to get sounds like this with the default ableton, or do i have to go on a hunt for preset packs.
i just started this as a hobby but im beyond confused when it comes to making unique sounds
i think it may be possible but it would take learning a lot about sound design. preset packs help if you want to skip that step or if you want to learn by breaking presets down and see how they work
Hello, I have been seeing a lot of the content you publish because I want to make music that way and they have been very useful, but I have a question, could you give me the name of the application used to make the music? Thank you
Yes! I'm using Ableton Live
i wanna start but idk where the hell to get all the drums, synth sounds and all that😭
Slate digital all access pass comes with loads of synths with the ANA2, a subscription is like under £10 a month it’s dope
Yo Varsity I was wondering, do you take collab requests? Let me know if you'd be interested. Either way, I really like your videos, keep it up!
I appreciate it! Maybe sometime in the future but rn i’m working on getting more videos out as soon as possible
@@VarsityBeats alright no worries, keep up the good work!
you should have more subs
Please help me, what type is the drums? 😭😭
sauce!
do you come live on twitch, making everything from scratch?
I go live on RUclips! I have some past streams up on the channel where I make everything from scratch.
you should really upload this
Is this waveform free?
yoooo this is fire but I still dont know how
sorry 😥
What is the name you have chosen for the song and can I make a crappy lyric video?
Which application are you using??
this is Ableton Live 10
It's good but I'm not a fan of the drum and bass style beat, it kind of clashes with the Y2K theme since they never used those types of beats for hyper pop back when it was current, specifically when the drums come back in in the second part
Best geometry dash level
yo this is really good, how long have you been making music?
I started back in 2011!
What app r u using to make the music?
Ableton Live 10 :)
@@VarsityBeats how much is it?
@@Siddurz pretty expensive, but totally worth it if you want to get into music production. The standard version costs $200 with a student discount, that’s how I started
i liked this video but your room looks like a science classroom
I feel like the vocals are a bit too loud and a bit too high but idk
I have a quick question, whats the website you use to make the beats? I'm interested in making hyperpop since I found out I'm pretty good at making lyrics and making beats!
He's using a DAW called Ableton then he got some of the samples from Splice
Rocket league Ahh
