If you want to use only 2 bars of drive meter, you can use cr.hp xx medium tatsu into light dp xx SA3. With SA it's 6665 iirc, a bit more than one of the combos you showed that used 4 bars. Also good when you're near burnout. I saw Kawano do it a lot in ECW.

If you're talking about the max damage one, I have some troubleshooting you can do: If you only get one hit of medium tatsu, delay the tatsu a little bit. If you get two hits but the l.dp won't connect, you're charging the fireball for too long
Just tatsu at the right time and you’ll get it early enough where u get both hits and also making sure ur opponent is high enough so you can recover for light dp

Can’t do this combo for the life of me. After that Mtatsu I couldn’t do the shouryuken
