This was a quick and easy project for us. The biggest challenge was doing the actual cutting. Never easy to cope with. But now... We're ready to cut just about anything.

Hey man I don’t think you explained in the video why did you have to cut your fenders ? I’m guessing because of wheel rub. Can you install these without cutting the fenders ?
They were cut for suspension height and to be able to push out the wheels or run a wider wheel. If the civic was at stock height, it wouldn't have to be cut. It's to allow for wheel travel.

They were off eBay some time back. LED red tails. Sometimes they'll be on there, sometimes you'll have to search around. I don't remember the name exact to help with a better search.

What spacers and size are was you guys running ?
That is a 70mm spacer. 2.75"
The size spacer all depends on what fitment your looking for. Since we liked his fitment before flares, we chose a spacer that would put them at the exact same spot. So if you have a wheel that's already at the fitment you want, whatever size flare you get... get the same sized spacer. 50mm flare, get 50mm spacer, etc.
When did this become a thing? I had alot of friends into the Honda tuning scene in high school (almost 15 years ago haha) and never saw fender flares on a car. This is the first time in my adult life I have seen them too. Kinda wild looking

What is the width of that fender flare? 3 inch 4 inch?
It's 70 mm which is equivalent to 2.75" on each side 😎

Where did u order the flares from?
From eBay bro man. Type in "New School Fender Flares"
The previous owner of my wrx was an idiot, he cut the rear quarter panel, and installed the fender flares with adhesive only. The front doesn't have any fender flares so I guess I have no choice but to put them on or replace my rear quarter panels.

What are all the things and tools to do this?
1. Harbor freight angle grinder (death wheel)
2. Self etching primer for cut metal.
3. You can use rubber silicone to close up rear sheet metal gap.
4. Professional hand rod rivet tool settle kit, threaded riveter with mandrels
5. Allen bolts
6. Riv-nuts

They're M6 6mm x 18mm Allen bolts and flat head aluminum rivet nuts.

how wide are your spacers?
Those happen to be a monstrous 70mm spacer. But gotta love them to help pull off the look until new wheels are available. But wheel width and back spacing play a big role in pokage. We wanted to keep Gabe's negative camber and aggressive fit. Plus he's running a very stretched tire.
@Danny Omar They're a 70mm, 5x114.3, 12x1.5 (lug thread size) spacer. Hub-centric off Ebay. If you can't find them in those specs... you have search for 5x4.5 bolt pattern instead (yes they're interchangeable), but you'll have to buy 12x1.5 lug bolts and swap them out. That's what we had to do.
@@BeardedPandaProductions Whats the specs on those wheels and the specs with the spacers on? I recently bought some work wheels and they are massive and wonna slap them on my 02 crv but the poke is ridiculous so i'm thinking on slapping on flares my self.
@@marlondominguez7563 All four wheels are 17x10 +15. Gabe is currently running 70mm hub-centric spacers on all four wheels. The flares are also 70mm. So it gave us a nice flushed fit. 😎 Gotta love Work wheels. Awesome choice. 👍🏻

Flares are 70 mm all the way around and spacers are 70 mm all the way around.

Oh man... I'm sure these will cover it up nicely. You can find them on eBay. They'll be listed under New School JDM Fender Flares. They have several different styles. All depends how far you'd like to push your wheels out.

Bro!!... no joke. A lot of the sizes are currently pulled of the market. The only ones available are the ones that are roughly $300 + for a pair. Waiting to see if they'll put them back out.
