Best shampoo commercial ive ever seen.
LOL
I've seen better. I grew up during glam metal. lol
wkwkwkw
They use a german shampoo called ,,Schwarzkopf``
Lfmao
When the bassist has the strap that high you just know he practices 15 hours a day.
I went to a show when he still played for First Fragment. He was on stage like one hour before the gig. All lights were still out and he was practicing till 5 minutes before the show started. He went backstage just to come back and keep playing.
@@thedarkness7774 Huh? When did JPT play for First Fragment?
@@martyrofgrenth2136 2019 at least live
@@thedarkness7774 I think Forest joined them somewhere in 2016 so I don't see why JPT would play for them, but then again around 2019 they had some shows in Germany so maybe he was filling in for Forest :D But yeah lol I was just hyped about it for a moment because I like JPT and it'd have been awesome if he played with First Fragment so I was really curious lol
Laced up so f’n tight he don’t even take them pants off to throw dick, just works it free from the convenient zipper hole. Nice and constricting
It’s great to hear Christian’s soloing back in Obscura. Just feels right.
It most certainly does.
The last two albums were incredibly complex, even for Obscura's standards, i think Trujillo did an amazing job, but Muenzer hits me nostalgically.
how beautiful it is to see David Diepold playing with such a big act
Right? People are talking about Chris, but dude, is so Nice to see David here standing amongst giants and rising to the ocasion
@@marcuscramus1155 technically he’s sitting
True, and he is an amazing drummer, but I will certainly miss Lanser. His creativity and diversity he brings to the drums is unparalleled.
He's such fucking good man, I'm glad he's getting the chance to play internationally with such a great band. He deserves it.
They are just on another level... This fills the void that Necrophagist left and gives some extra. Christian Münzner is so gooooood!
if I didn’t see the title I could change it for the first single of the new Necrophagist
Chris was amazing back in Cosmogenesis & Omnivium, but he's reached a whole new level. Incredible.
@@CaptnShred I agree. It's even more amazing that he's doing this with his condition (focal dystonia). Truly one of the greats.
Totally agree .
@@clr1989 He probably learned how to go around his condition. That's why he's a much better player now, he's used to it.
the bassline is absolutely astonishing, Jeroen is a modern bass god
We have 3 Gods.
Forest, Jeroen and Jared Smith from Archspire.
@@lightofnight8321 I'd add some more, mike Flores for example
@@lightofnight8321 Erlend Caspersen too!
@@lightofnight8321 and Steve DiGiorgio, who’s actually in Quadvium with Jeroen
Is that a 6 or 8 string bass? Can't tell with his fingers flying all over the place!
david diepold as obscura's drummer... total epic!
Amazing
Setuju 🤘🤘
Terpadu
Christian's solo is like a "song within a song". Adds so much to the overall flow.
Im glad he’s part of the band they’ve had crazy technical guitarists but Christian just adds taste 🔥
Christian Münzner is back, baby. You can tell he wrote this within the first 10 seconds.
Less ;D
The alter magnitudes intro
and its magnificient
That guitar solo is *chefskiss
yo are his hands better??
He is not "cured". He changed his playing method and has a special glove to help him counter some of the difficulties he has. If I'm not mistaken
@@chriistiaantjj i have the same understanding of the situation
A 7 string fretless bass. Now I've seen everything.
Till the next album where they gonna use 8-stringers just to make it sound even bigger, that's for sure ...
I thought that was a 7. You should check out Jeff Hughell. He has a Warwick 7 string fretless as well.
Check out UneXpect, a defunct band but the bassist used a 9 string. Best heard on the track Words.
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
@@AHighlander You have me at a checkmate there. Well played. I can't say I have seen that.
New Obscura? Hell yeah!!
Oh, hey! I miss your Chatroulette videos, they were so funny and fun to watch...!
Yo hoooooly shit I used to watch your videos 12 years ago when I was 12 and I did not expect to see you in the comments of an Obscura video. This made my whole day lol
This made my day. Greetings from Italy dude! :)
Tech-death approved by the great Damien himself.
Makemebad is back! Lol, didn't expected that.
I clicked the second I saw that notification, this band can do no wrong
Obscura, First Fragment, and Archspire this year. An amazing year for Tech Death. Talented af!
And Inferi
Obsidious, Hanness Grossman, Atheist
Beyond Creation and Gorod are on the line and would like to have a word with you
and arkaik
And Fractal Universe, Aversed, Evil Drive, At the Gates, Born of Osiris, and Hiraes
Jeroen is such an incredible bassist.
For real. Total master.
It's an absolute delight to hear Christian's guitar solos within the context of Obscura's music once again.
I’m digging this, it’s like Obscura had a baby with early Arsis
I’m so glad someone else drew this comparison. Love Arsis.
I immediately thought of this
Dude I heard so much diamond for disease in this!
Early arsis was so sick!
Thought the same, absolutely true, and Arsis are badass!
David Diepold, absolutely killer!.
This song is phenomenal. I have a feeling a Masterpiece is coming.
exactly my thoughts
We are NOT worthy that David Diepold is in this band.. Pure gold! 🙌🏼
2:24 that is the most epic part in any Obscura solo - and god there are many epic ones. Chris, you are awesome!!!
Christian's guitar solo is really impressive, and Obscura will never disappoint me... I'm so excited for the new album!!!
How is it even possible to play this intricate technical solo wtf
2:24 simply amazing
Steffan and Christian back together 💪
I just shed a tear! I am infinitely glad to see Christian back in the team, to hear new material and to wait for the upcoming album!
Preordered immediately, Obscura is one of my all time favorites and they sound as great as ever
Same! Hope you pre ordered the new First Fragment too!
Same!! A Valediction and Gloire Eternelle pre-ordered!!! Top albums of 2021 for sure!!
@@aguitusaguitus I pre ordered around 200$ worth of stuff for Gloire Éternelle, 265$ for A Valediction and around 85$ for Maniacult by Aborted, and I'm not gonna stop because the melodic death metal band Aephanemer will also release stuff by the end of the year so I'm gonna go big on that pre order too.
This is some of the best guitar playing I've ever heard.
Awesome to see David on the drums and hearing him in Obscura. You guys made an excellent choice.
Also Christian back on guitar? This album is going to be lit!!!!
David is a beast drummer, has been for years!
@@cognitivedisruption5375 100% agree
diepold's a BEAST. i absolutely love his clarity and precision.
The vocals are much more aggressive and Christian and Jereon are so welcome back! Grest work guys 😍
I swear I've watched this over 100 times now. Such a good band 🤘
wow Christian Münzner now is putting some of his neo-classical/power metal taste now.
This brought a tear to my eye. Excellent as always Obscura! Extra lovely to see Jeroen & Christian back..
2:24 my fav part. Great Song
Takes me back to high school when I fell in love with tech death, this is gonna be one merciless album!
Diepold already dominating the tracks! Nice!
David is KILLING it on the drums. Love it
That was amazing! Love the songwriting on this one, full of energy and heavily influenced by Power Metal and Neoclassical shred. Can't wait for the new album.
Hi
@@Voidaram Blessed in Neoclassical Power Metal!
That solo sounded like it could've been lifted from a Shrapnel neoclassical instrumental album. Loved it.
@@kitoyobeni1 Indeed! Sounds totally from that era.
Oh boy that was insane 😯
And if the whole album sounds like this , Idk man this is whole another level of Obscura !! \m/...
It has that raw "omnivium" vibe to it that i just love !
Diluvium was awesome in its own jazzy/proggy kind of way all thanks to Trujillo and Lanser,
but this is just pure brutal/technical death to its root !
Holy sh**t what a blast!
Thanks for raising the supreme bar of Tech death! ☄️
Ha! the blast masters!
Espero con ansias su regreso @@underredbloodskies1119
ajajaja yo disque enviandoselo
@@MetalHero Compartiendo el tech death mas fino desde el minuto 1!☄️
Hola hermanos!
Wow, that was incredible! I feel like you achieved a very good balance between the technicality and the songwriting here. This song is ridiculously complex, but I could see it getting stuck in my head after a few listens. Awesome riffs, the bass was insane, that solo section was beautiful, and the drums were crushing. The masters of tech death are back! 🤘🤘
Великолепные продолжатели творчества ATHEIST, DEATH, CYNIC.... Stay technical death!!!
With love from Moscow.
Those fretless bass lines are a quintessential part of the Obscura sound. Jeroen never fails to deliver.
-Steffen's vocals are on fire!
-Plenty of small leads, on top of the fast riffing (great dynamics).
-BUSY drums, and very clear & punchy production - just like Omnivium.
-(2:05) for solos.
-And (2:40) for the perfect harmonic climax!!!
David Diepold is a beast!
classic obscura
I'd say production on this one is better than Omnivium's. The latter had a very hot mastering, whereas this one lands at a respectable DR9 which leaves more room for drum punch.
Idk man my headphones are bad or wot. Every other song from obscura sounds good and clean except this mix. The cymbals and vocals overpower most guitar riffs, drumparts and the bass.
@@vinayjoshi5070 That is not my experience at all-quite the opposite. I can hear Thesseling's bass lines very clearly, and every instrument has its place. I especially like how I can appreciate the work on cymbals which would normally be lost in the brickwall. What's your audio setup? It's a shame you're not hearing it like I hear it; it's pretty good!
Best tech death metal along with Alkaloid didn't fail yet again. I've listened this song once and will wait for full album to be realeased.
These men are veteran musicians, and are not fu**ing around, i just don't think anything comes close to Obscura in terms of perfection, even the video production is top notch.
True, this song is perfect in every way. Truly captures the essence of Death Metal.
Best obscura song I've heard in years
Best hair conditioning ad ever!!
Omg please let this get +100Mil views.. this band just keeps getting better and better with each new release!
Jeroen is by far a great fit to the band, I’m happy he’s back🤘🏻
I guess he decided to finally get back on the metal track. He was working on experimental music and was about to leave metal behind when he assembled a jazz trio.
This is exactly what Metal and Metalheads needed. What a banger with complex moments and great musicianship ! F** Yeah
I thought I was hyped before, but now this is the next level of the hype. So good
Happy to see David Diepold shredding with a full band! Hails David!
0:14 - Septuagint, part 2
This single is absolutely insane!
Nice catch
Some of the coolest shots in music video history. those red drapes in slow motion is the most epic thing ive ever seen@!!!
Всё как всегда хорошо, играют отлично Штефан молодец 👍
Дипольд огонь!
Штефан гений, Кристиан виртуоз! Как же здорово, что они снова вместе!
Christian, how does it feel to be the best guitarist on Earth? I know you're a humble guy and all but you deserve all the credit. Your work speaks for itself. Your work with Necro, obscura, spawn, eternitys end, solo project, Hanness, ALKALOID! Keep em coming brother! 🤘
Pure beautiful insanity, i love this band so much.
That solo is one of the most beautiful pieces of musicianship I've ever heard. This album could potentially be solidified at the very top of the genre.
Right next to Incurso
@@aguitusaguitus Incurso is cool, but it never quite clicked with me, I don't find myself listening to them that often. Obscura is much better in MY opinion.
@@PROJECTJoza100 they're my favorite bands of all time. Can't choose between Obscura and SoP but yeah Incurso takes it's time, same with Omnivium, Very complex albums haha
steffens vocals are so much more ferocious than on diluvium - love it!
Not only noticeable but actually prominent bass in extreme metal? Never thought I'd see the day.
Bass has always been prominent on Technical Death Metal
Second part of the solo give me chills
total jason becker style
Still an incredible ride 3 years after. Stunning!
Just one word to describe: Incredible
Jeroen and Forest are bassist gods! Love always their bass lines, insane!
"How many notes will you add to this song?"
Münzner: "yes"
This is my birthday present, what an opportune day to hear the new obscura, they took the omnivium to another level!
Obscura always delivers beautiful brutality. Can't wait for the album
A 4 minutes song that feels like an 8 minute, amazing job!
Absolutely wonderful! Great work!
Humble enough to still speaking like a fan. Respect and the best for you and the girls on Crypta!. 💀🤘🏼🎶😉
Can’t wait for the acoustic version!
I like the change, more abrupt and faster. Steffen for ever. 🔥🤘🏻
the new line up is killer. The rythm section is totally nailing it and Diepold giving us what he has been showing in his playthrough, some flawlessly executed tech death. What a drummer!
The beginning sounds a lot like Stabwound lol. Brutal stuff nonetheless.
Absolutely Amazing!!!!!!! I´ve been waiting for the return of Christian and his guitar playing style with Obscura.
I can´t wait for the album!
When you buy your bass strap in the kid's aisle
But for real, the guy's a beast !
I love how Christian has a conversation with himself in his solo lol
Relentless aggression combined with enough technicality to sound like early Obscura with hints of Necrophagist, lovely!
How can something be so tech-death and melodic at the same time? This is über cool.
Que coisa mais linda!
Sensacional amigo!
one more note:
1st listen: cool !
2nd listen: Awesome !
3rd listen: OMG !
this is why i love this band .... it grows on you rather than hit you and get forgotten
Overall I think I preferred the more organic drum sound and nuanced patterns on Deluvium but the harmonic climax towards the end goes nuts.
Also, do I hear a little bit of Tomas Lindberg in the vocals? Very nice.
True! There is a bit of Tomas Lindberg going on. a bit of falsetto on his growls
No, you're hearing a lot of Steffen Kummerer in the vocals.
Pues sigue escuchando ese album.
@@Khazandar Uhhh okay
Thought the same thing, with that At the Gates vibe on the vocals. The producer's touch probably
I've been following David Diepold for a long time and I'm so glad to see that his hard work paid off. I think he's the perfect fit for Obscura because of his immense technical ability behind the kit.
I thought the guitars should've been higher in the mix, other than that, this is the best tech-death I've heard all year. This song slays! I'm so glad Christian Muenzer is back in the band!!
Should definitely be higher
@@RS_91 Yes. Either that or lower one of the other instruments like the bass guitar, i like the high presence of the fretless bass guitar, but it sounds like that drowns out the guitars and the lead guitar. Maybe the drums are a bit loud too.
These guys are perfect, the best technical Death Metal band around, I love the new song and video 🔥👍👍🤘🤘🙏
Coffee themed death metal. I like it.
I was just thinking to myself that I really need coffee right now lol
Amazing! I love the sound of the fretless bass
2:40 una obra de arte total! ❤️👊🏾
I don't really listen to death metal but my coworker plays this at work and I got hooked on the drums guitar mixed with the demonic.voice so I asked what band came home and listened
Definitely seems like Christian is bringing in some power metal influence from his Eternity's End stuff
And as someone who listens to almost nothing but power metal and tech death, I'm loving this!
Jeroen is back!! I needed this
That is facemelting masterpiece!!!
Damn! David Diepold style of drumming is just straight-up heavy with no bullshit. That insane bpms on the double bass really reminds me of George Kollias. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album. I don't know why but his playing seems to have change Obscura sounds like a lot.
Amazing as always, greets from Chile!
Diepolt nailing the drums! From RUclips to real life 🤘🤘🤘
It’s a good year to be a progressive death metal fan: Hannes Grossmann, Fractal Universe, Alustrium… now more top notch Obscura
Don't forget First Fragment!
@@cancan460 The list goes oooooon
..as well as:
Dead World Reclamation(!!!)
Stortregn(!!!)
Ominous Ruin
Beast of Nod
Pestilence
Came here to say you gotta add First Fragment, but Ominious Ruin is amazing, and Beast of Nod might be the most impressive of all this year (so far.)
So happy to see David Diepold in a major act. He's truly one of extreme metal's best drummers.
Reminds me of the sound these guys had in the Grossman years
This track feels like an Agressive Septuagint. I'm in love with that! The tone of the guitar is sick. Nice work, we'll be waiting for that new album!
Congrats from Chile.
