Made-Up Lore: This takes place during the Sonic CD timeline, which explains why Tails isn’t present here. Except this time, Robotnik misuses the power of the Time Stones even more, making him more dangerous and truly insane, which led him to slaughter everyone using the power of time at his disposal, it would then come to a sudden stop, as misusing the time stones has broken them, and Robotnik too, as the Time Stones rip apart, so does the fabric of space and time itself, and somehow, somewhere, Robotnik manages to get a hold of it using a new machine he built, and use it to destroy everything and make it his. In this version, his destruction begins in the Sonic 3 Timeline. (Side note: I like to imagine that Robotnik has pale skin, a skinnier, more taller build, as well as black clothing with a red accent, to fit his spiral into insanity and new personality.)
