- I ADORE this aria so much, I hope you enjoy it just half as much as I do!

Furthermore I'd like to add that today is Elīna's 34th birthday and the 33th anniversary of Maria Callas' death.

Absolutely mind boggling; of a beauty so immense, it overwhelms the senses.
J'avais eu le plaisir d'avoir l'occasion chanter cette chanson pour mon concert; La musique de Berlioz est ma préférée. Merci pour votre beau partage. Belle orchestration et la chanteuse a fait bien interpréter cette oeuvre. La raffinesse et délicat sur le poème d'amour l'ardent flamme.... Bien sure, je penserai Maria Callas dans ma prière. C'est bravo à la chanteuse.

Arguably the most transcendent of all opera duets (along with the duets of Tristan and Otello). Fantastic Eva Maria and Bryan, but neither of them sing on the opera stages anymore.
I wish she would record the entire Damnation, this is the best version of this aria I have heard.

Good looks, ok voice, but weak understanding of material. This aria is about longing, but here it sounds like giving orders to soldiers.
rien de comparable a Regine Crespin pour l'interpretation et la diction francaise.Que voulez vous, faute de grives on mange des merles!
