    Grace Bumbry's phrasing is just sublime, the same with Helmut Deutsch. Here we have two great musicians at work , truly listening to each other and feeding off of each other's musicality. Even in later career Dr Grace could produce great singing and with artistry make one forget the passing of the years. How we shall miss her!

    C'est juste incroyable cette tenue vocale cette pureté d'intonation, cette prononciation si juste, et cette voix luxueuse préservée ainsi apres 40 ans de carrière. Il faut du courage pour s'attaquer à un air aussi dépouillé et exposé à ce stade de sa carrière.

    (never thought I'd even stand to the end G. Bumbry on "D'amour l'ardente flamme", I'm certain though Helmut Deutsch helped the final result to please me this very much. Unbelievable from 1st to last note of both.)
