Your tutorials are excellent! You are very clear spoken and precise. Unlike many other tutorials, you explain every single step and why you're doing it. Thank you!
I am delighted that you started this AI channel. Your Inkscape tutorials were really helpful - and I love Inkscape. But I also work with AI and Ps so I will be subscribing to your new channel.
Please upload more illustrator videos. I've learned a lot from your Inkscape videos, Please upload a video for beginners for the interface of illustrator. The whole illustrator explained ( like you did in inkscape which consist of 8 videos) some sort of like that. And then please upload illustrator Intermediate/Advanced Tutorials. Hope you will do it soon. Keep up the great work. Thank you!
Nick, at 4:38 you select that first corner point, when I try to do that, the polygon object is deleted, the little + and - change when I put the mouse of the end point of the polygon, it changes to the - sign. I don't have any keys held down e.g. shift, alt, or crtl. any suggestions? Thanks
Go to View and make sure you have "Snap to point" turned on. If that doesn't work, try saving the file and re-opening it again. Sometimes it's a bug that causes these things.
Yes, it's really may a bug, because the "Snap to point" was turned on, and even re-opening the file, the error continues... So, I turned on the "Smart guides" and it helps me to find the corner points of other way. Thanks anyway!
Very Helpful Video! But I still cannot snap on the nodes and my pen tool works differently, like Photoshop's PenTool. Any suggestions whould be helpful!
Well as of right now I prefer Inkscape because I'm more familiar and proficient with it. But I think Illustrator is more stable and has more to offer in the long run, so I'm transitioning over to using it full time.

Hey Nick, this is a great video but I was wondering if you prefer ed illustrator or inkscape.
Well as of right now I prefer Inkscape because I'm more familiar and proficient with it. But I think Illustrator is more stable and has more to offer in the long run, so I'm transitioning over to using it full time.
How i put some editing bars like polygons and alignment at the top of the screen?
Love this. What is the main difference with Ai and Inkscape when applied your design works Nick?
