Great update, I was trying to decide between building one and getting a redneck blind. With the cost of lumber and you're great review, the answer is simple.
Hi Mark , I just purchased a Redneck platinum buck palace, I also purchased a small woodstove why did you install the vent out the side of the blind and not thru the roof ? Love your videos. Thanks.
Hey Terry, thank you. Something deep in my conscience won't let me put a hole in a roof if it can be avoided (house, barn, and blinds). Just always worried about leaking over time. All the best to you.
Hi Mark, thanks for putting these videos together. My buddy and I just got two 6x6 buck palaces. We’re around 6 feet, 215lbs (ok, probably 225). We plan on gun and bow hunting out of these. Have you tried different chairs? Curious to hear your recommendations. Thanks!
Hey Justin, good question. I just put on my list yesterday to do a chair review! Since you asked, I’ll bump it to the top of the list and get it put together this weekend and load it early next week. Congrats on the news blinds, you guys are really going to enjoy them.
We use leather (fake) office chairs, generally under 150 bucks that roll, elevate, rotate and recline..Some of my best sleep has taken place while hunting with this combination. I look for sales at staples or amazon. The last one I got on prime day was $62 delivered. Staples aways has deals. Comfortable and warm.
Thanks David. Had the woodburner made by a local welder/hunter, but I can't seem to get in touch with him anymore, so I don't have a good reference for you today. A few others have asked, so I am going to see if I can find another to help you guys find a source. All the best to you.
I found him! Contact Kenn at kc734x4@gmail.com for woodstoves. He makes them on the side in his home shop, so doesn't have inventory, but can make them to order. Good luck.
Love it! Very durable and well made
I agree! All the best to you.

agree, don't underestimate the time it takes to build a good quality blind. many DIY'er either don't value their time.

Just came across this video. I had looked at these blinds, but after doing research on price and warranty, I went with a Banks Outdoors one instead
Hey Kevin, thanks for the feedback. Would love to see a good Banks Blind review after you have some time using it.
Great video thank you for the info
Hey Michael, thank you for the feedback. All the best to you.
Issues may be fixed but a long usage test is great.
Hey Steven, thanks for the comment. I agree, and intend to do another update in a few years.
