That man’s name is Scott Frieda. And he’s been clean and sober for A LONG TIME. He makes awareness videos so people will know what alcoholism looks like and what it causes. That video is for educational purposes, Scott hasn’t relapsed or started drinking again. You need to make this clear in your video and also give Scott credit.
Every day you wake up it’s another day to try again and walk that straight line. Stay away from triggers until you can face them. Stay away from people who do it. Stay away from the excuse. Find life again in sobriety. Find joy again in sobriety. Know that there is light at the end of this tunnel! Pray your way out of the hand that holds you tight and know that god has your back if you let him. You’re not alone my friend, you never was and never will be. Good less the struggle and god bless the lesson. I know it’s a very hard one to learn but just wait until the day you’re free and imagine how awesome you have been this entire time and how much more awesome you’ll be tomorrow.
I don't know why either, I can't stop. I hate what I do. If I always do what I've always done, I'll always be where I've always been. But then there's hope.
Everyday isn't the restart of a nightmare. Your perspective just tells you that. Everyday is a new chance at sobriety. You failed yesterday? So what? Try again. Step one. Actually try. Step two only applies if Step one fails. And it is go back to Step one. Took me 10 yrs. Took my dad 40. TRY AGAIN.
Find your self dignity by looking in the mirror. Hopefully you'll get tired of what you see. I've been doing it for 40 years and that's what it takes. Realize you've destroyed every relationship and opportunity and potentially your life and maybe that will be enough. Maybe not, good luck and never stop trying. You gotta learn how to hate how you feel and what you see to change.

AA is saving my life. I will pray for your continued recovery and for every person struggling with alcohol addiction. It is no joke.
I know it is a huge issue in the US also PTSD, but why not some much in other countries??? What are your thoughts?
