Thank you for the simple cleaning tips. As a pram collector, I hope to do some pram restoration here in the states when I retire later this year

I have a very similar stroller with both the bassinet as well as the upright seat that swap out. Those pieces are in good shape. The frame needs to be rechromed, new wheels and leather shocks. I don’t have the talent to do that, but would pay to have it restored. Any suggestions?

I think my mam used to push me around in 1 of these. I searched online & found the name "svithun pram" which I think is what my mam had. If you had 1 of these restored & for sale if be interested in buying it.

the rust eater: does the brand matters?

To be honest, I haven't tried that many brands, but they should all work the same way. Just try a smaller portion of the metal first in a less visible place if you're not using what I use. For me, the most important thing is that it is a little thicker so it can be smeared on the metal. Liquid rust-eaters just run off the metal, and are thus only really good for derusting little things like screws that you can take off the stroller and put in a container while the rust-eater is working. :)
