Delta lost my luggage on a flight between Minneapolis and Seoul on a trip to Manila. I reported it and when it finally did arrive in Manila, they mailed it to my in-laws house for me. That might be a Philippines law or something though, not sure if that's Delta or Korean Air policy.
Hint: if the suitcase that got lost was a locked firearms case, threatening to call (or actually calling) the ATF will get the case found very quickly. I have both first hand and second hand experience with this.
I lost my luggage in 2022 after travelling from New Zealand to England via Lufthansa (the German airline) and our three suitcases went missing. We tried calling them since we eventually had to leave the airport but they kept us on hold for like an hour and then just hung up on us, every single time. We went back to the airport and they told us that our situation wasn't important enough for us to be considered an emergency (bearing in mind we were borrowing clothes from my cousins and my dad's medication was missing) and then they told us to wait in the lobby. We waited for four hours straight before they had someone tell us that our bags weren't even in the country. We tried to get them back once we were in New Zealand again but they said we couldn't call them through an Australian/NZ number. Worst airline ever.
A lot of airlines will pay too have your suitcase delivered too your house. Yes they’ve lost mine before, but delivered it too me 3 weeks later. Thankfully I had a tag with my address on it.
I had the same thing happen, I had to have a bag delivered to my parents house after it got thrown somewhere else. They got it back to me pretty fast though, only missed it for a few days I think!
I had my suitcase lost before; they forgot to put it into a plane and left it out on the tarmac. Delta then flew it from Atlanta to Detroit, and then from Detroit to Milwaukee, and mailed it to my house free of charge. They really treat you right.
Same thing happened to me. Southwest left my luggage in Arizona but they flew it back to Milwaukee the next day and I picked it up. Still perfectly fine.
I work in an airport, I've seen other airlines' just ignore bags for weeks or even months just collecting dust in the baggage hall... typically due to no tag or name card on them to track them. Word of advice, don't use those stupid loose name cards hanging off your handles... they can get lost VERY EASILY!!! Bags with a slot to slide your name in is your best option. So even if the bag loses the flight tag your info is still attached to that bag to get it retagged quick.
Yeah some airlines simply do not care, depending on what airport or country even. I had a bag end up sitting at the airport's lost baggage area for a whole week. My bag arrived a day after I did. I called more than once, sent reports describing the bag and what was in it. I even had time to go back to the airport on my second day and show them what it says on THEIR bag tracking app, and at first they just looked at me like I was stupid, "there's no way." I couldn't go to get my bag because I didn't think to bring my passport, and I learned the hard way that in some countries they have the baggage claim behind the secured area. I had never been to an airport that does that, so oh well. Thankfully before I left back home, I came in early before my flight and finally got my bag.
I ALWAYS put my name, address, phone number, and alternate phone numbers on a notebook size piece of paper, and tape it to some items that are inside and right on top of my suitcase. (I do have the outer id tags also, but more so because they are cute!) I worked for a ‘company’ that works in airports and I had many rotations working in baggage. Our group of people were always careful and respectful of the suitcases, but stuff does get put aside for one reason or another.

Last year they lost mine on a national flight in Germany. I repoted it lost and told them i gonna pick it up myself because i live nearby. Yeah, that's absolutely crazy. They lost my luggage once when I had a trip to Spain. They delivered it to the hotel at no extra cost - just as I'd expect. It was some European airline, though... so maybe the US airlines handle those things differently.
my first trip overseas and i came back home to the US from Italy...without my luggage. Thankfully it was found in Germany where I made a tight connection but my luggage didnt 😅 they managed to send it over on the next flight and it was on my doorstep by midnight. just make sure to take a photo, have a tag and put some unique keychain so it can be easily located
I worked at schiphol airport at this department, 99% of the times it's found and then send to you even if u are not in the same country. (I did send luggages back to all over the world.) Don't worry most if the times it will be located in 72 hours. And then send back on the next flight!
One time, I was on a southwest flight at that time when Southwest was doing extremely bad, like 2 or 3 yrs ago. They lost my whole flights luggage and then couldn't find and return the luggage for a week. Long story short, they lost a ton of money, and I enjoyed spending my share😂.
Most amazing part is a very few people put luggage tags and information on the inside of the bag just in case it gets torn off of the outside of the bag
Sometimes airlines will purposely lose the tag or pretend that they called you multiple times and just sell it (they did that to my sister) (she got no compensation)

Personally when they lost my luggage from my flight from Atlanta to El Paso , they personally came to our house to deliver it…I think that’s how they should always do it!
Looking it up, seems like airports in Japan can't sell lost luggage, because it's considered lost property and has to be handed over to the police if they can't find the owner. So that'll be why airports in the US "lose" them and Japanese ones don't lol
When mine was lost, it took two weeks to be found and all my electronics were missing. After filing a claim and providing receipts, they just said I had no proof it was in the bag and denied my claim.
It reminds me of the time my family stopped making payments for the storage unit and I didn't know about it and it was ended up auctioned off so everything that I ever owned from the time I was born until I was 18 was sold without my knowledge.
My father lost his luggage on a flight from Lahore, Pakistan to riyadh, Saudi Arabia to london. They found it 3 days later in riyadh and delivered it to the address he was staying at in London.

I flew with KLM last year on July 19 2023 from Italy to Amsterdam, then Amsterdam all the way to Oranjestad Aruba, i still didnt get the 3,800 back, we tried to sue but we still didnt get the fricking 3,800 😭😭😭
My first first time on an airplane, it was a layover with only 2 stops. The original flight got delayed due to seat issues. The second flight had to make a pit stop to refuel because they're was a storm and they didn't let us land. The flight took forever to take off and we missed the last flight to Andros making a group of high school kids stuck sleeping in an airport and on the flight home, they lost my luggage. Luckily I got it back a few weeks later
Greyhound lost my luggage in November of 2014, never tried to actively find it, and it disappeared somewhere between Dallas & Denver. 10 years later, still nothing from them!
I live in the EU, years ago while traveling to Italy if I remember correctly, we had a connecting flight that was a bit close for comfort, maybe an hour, they did put some extra stickers to the luggage but they didn't get in time to the connecting flight, luckily it was our return flight, but anyways, the luggage was priority mailed home, came like in 2 days or so
fairly certain it will cost the airline good money if they don't return it in timely matter over here, I think the "you missed your flight because of booking" fees are also fairly bit bigger than in the US as well.
I lost my luggage when i went to usa on a group tour. They told me they found it and it will take a couple of days. I could get compensation money for each day and they also sent the luggage back to me even though i was already in a different city ( since it was a tour ).
This mainly happens due to tags getting ripped off, or the bags show up late to the belt, and the plane is already ready for departure. So they try to send it in as a rush bag the next day so it can be offloaded first at the nearest location.

This is exactly the type of thing that make me not care one bit when an airline faces bankruptcy.
That was a hello kitty suitcase!😥😂😂🤣😁
>Lose your luggage with drugs in it
>They sell it
>wait
My father lost his luggage on a flight from Lahore, Pakistan to riyadh, Saudi Arabia to london. They found it 3 days later in riyadh and delivered it to the address he was staying at in London.
you went to my country then to london, a comment that i would probably never see
@Ali-m6g7g it was a layover in riyadh😅
"Mint condition hello kitty suitcase"
I like your suitcase 😀
Cant tell you how many times i saw luggage falling from the tugs on the airport ramp 💀
its actually funny because as i was watching this video i had that exact suitcase and was thinking about how they scratched up my suitcase and i was upset about it and then to see the same suitcase in the video being scratched was funny lol
What happens if you jokingly tell a cop you killed someone?
"Babe, why there is a bomb for sale in Amazon?"
My dad lost his luggage when he visited Australia. But luckily he found it a week later

I’d be mad too if i had a hello kitty suitcase that they lost
As someone who has that suitcase, I can confirm it did not cost more than $3800 😅
It’s funny at the end because you have the luggage and then he sees it❤
You can’t find my suitcase ? I had 3 MacBooks in there 😢
the conclusion: Fly on private Jets
Wait so you can claim the money and when they find it and put things on sale you can just buy everything you had back.
Mike basically said "skill issue lol"
That hello kitty luggage lookin fire
In my country, they send it via mail if they don’t come to their house if they can call them
nice attendant 😉
Greyhound lost my luggage in November of 2014, never tried to actively find it, and it disappeared somewhere between Dallas & Denver. 10 years later, still nothing from them!
Had mine delayed a few times but back then airlines tried to get it to you, havent checked any luggage in 15 years now.
The fact that she threw it right after she was given it is wild and an accurate representation of how airport's treat your suitcases.
So on international flights, where you take more stuff with you,if they loose your luggage they'll pay you less...
L - logic.
If they sell it without my legal consent i will sue them
If they lose it you should get the flight ticket that you lost it on refunded.
That receptionist is dangerously revealing💀

She always flashes her chest in these videos.
Tacky!
You should see when she has nothing on 😏

I lost my luggage when i went to usa on a group tour. They told me they found it and it will take a couple of days. I could get compensation money for each day and they also sent the luggage back to me even though i was already in a different city ( since it was a tour ).
The airport would auction it off
Imagine if theres a barbie suitcase with an ak-47 what i cant believe
Mike being sarcastically helpful goes hard ngl
that cgi on the phone screen must have taken a long time

HELP MIKE I AM BEING OVEN ARRESTED, HELP ME WITH MY CASE
This mainly happens due to tags getting ripped off, or the bags show up late to the belt, and the plane is already ready for departure. So they try to send it in as a rush bag the next day so it can be offloaded first at the nearest location.
The hello kitty suitcase HOW OLD IS THIS GUY😂😂😂😂
first i think
Ya
