I don’t think a lot of people realize that King Los might actually be the greatest rapper of all time. I wouldn’t say it for a certain but in terms of skill he should definitely be in the conversation. His accolades include some of the following:
1. He’s probably ghost written for your favorite rapper.
2. He helped write Empire (TV show).
3. He’s one of the greatest freestylers ever.
4. He was a coach on Rhythm & Flows. He coached D Smokes who ended up getting a Grammy nomination.
5. He beat Head Ice in a rap battle.
Los has touched basically every aspect of rap and has done so at the highest level. Probably the most versatile rapper in the history of the art form.

I have to rank Royce’s appearance way lower than Los and lots of others since he just rapped his song “Thou Shall”. He didn’t even rap it to a different beat. It’s a dope song but that’s kind of lame in my opinion.

Los is independent I'm pretty sure, and he has been rapping for like 15 years man. He was a battle rapper also. He has been in the game for a while. Long before J Cole ever showed up.

King los don't need anybody to sign him, he's been in the rap game for 16 years and was signed to Jay z but Jay z wouldn't let him put out any music, so king los left, and he has been blacklisted ever since. Ps he is the greatest lyricist in the world 💯💯💯

As someone who has followed Los for a while seeing new reactions to him is probably my favorite thing the dudes lyrical ability and vocabulary are just out of this world. I can’t think of many rappers that can compete with him.

You should watch los when someone throws words at him he is definitely one of the best freestylers if not thee best.
I think him saying he is top 5 but the 5th spot is a mockery doesn't mean he's number four, instead that the four in the top 4 are part of "Mt Rashmore" and typically that doesn't have a rank, you are either in the top 4 for not hence the 5th spot is a mockery.

*Smooth* *criminal* , a *hit* by *MJ* , starts with a *quarter* *flip* that then turns the *king* (of pop; MJ) into a *leaner* (doing the lean move).
But also in line with the setup: he talks about the person being a *smooth* *criminal* , able to make that *quarter* *flip* ( sell drugs ) and of 1 *hit* ( of the drugs ) turn even a *king* into a *leaner* ( because of the effects of the drugs ).
So basically it's a double entendre on freaking 5 terms: smooth criminal, quarter flip, hit, king and leaner.

He also said he writes for a lot of artists that are at the top of the game without mentioning names. Lastly he took credit for writing a season of empire and doing a Netflix special with Cardi B.

Thanks for the reply. I say a lot of people won’t catch every bar on a first listen. King Los had a TON of punchlines and topics in that freestyle that if we were to pause and talk about all of them we would have been there for 1.5 hours. Lol! Of course others from the outside looking will catch a lot more bars after numerous listens. Do you fall into that category?
