Should contacting the Ombudsman after 2 inquiries be done by our attorney or by us? Do attorneys typically want an additional fee for contacting the Ombudsman? Our attorney did not even suggest an Ombudsman. After our second inquiry he suggested we contact our congressman. Our congressman was not helpful and just stated that our petition was still being reviewed. It’s a I-751 that has been processing 16 mos in the Houston field office. Please advise, thanks!

Hi, I’ve been waiting for a decision for around 14 months now. Still pending on decision. My interview was in the San Francisco office. I believe my interview went pretty well as my lawyer thought so too! Should I do something now? My lawyer advised that I just wait :/ Thanks you !!

After tree and half years I got my naturalization. I sent several inquiries each one at 60 days, and I sent them hand written letters.
