I had the pleasure of dating George years and years ago before his drag career and his personality shined through on everything he did as much as it did in person. I’ll cherish my memories of him and the shining star he was. Rest in power George/Cherry 🍒

I don't know if those outside of the UK understand how important of a service Cherry provided by being a nurse during the pandemic. Our healthcare workers are painfully underpaid, often abused by members of the public, and are generally undervalued and treated like shit by our government. During the pandemic, the NHS was at crisis, severely underfunded and many nurses and doctors were working overtime without proper protection to care for our people. Cherry was such a light, genuinely a hero. What a beautiful beautiful soul.
