I used to live in JP but most of the temples (synagogues) are in Brookline. Since it’s pricey to live there, it’s fun to visit. There are great kosher Jewish restaurants and a fully kosher Jewish grocery store, the Butchery. If you continue further away on Rt. 9, it’s more suburban but very pricy in Chestnut hill too. I hear there’s a sizable Asian population in Brookline too. If you like going out to eat, there’s more variety in restaurants now. Brookline has a great library and great bookstores. Ok, that’s my 2 cents.
I agree with this! The Jewish and Israeli restaurants, bakeries, and stores are some of my favorite there. It's a great mix honestly of city and suburbs!
if you’re looking to move here, would not recommend. i live a block away from a place they showed. if you have a child, the school systems are a toxic competitive environment and the adult culture is cutthroat and intense.
As a teenager in the Brookline public school system, I must tell you that I had a wonderful experience in middle school and as a returning high schooler, I rarely encounter a hitch in my education, and even then it is quickly resolved. Please share more about your experience because this is certainly not the one I have.
Living in Boston Massachusetts ohh just to mention i live in downtown worcester! I plan on moving into the boston area, lease will be up in February, not sure what company you work for but ive started looking! And maybe we can talk!

I used to live in Brookline near the medical area for two years (Kent st.): it is the weather that kills you.
