Hola, I requested the second song here Since you wanted to know where it plays, Paradise of Coexistence (the version you listened to) is a dungeon battle theme that plays while you're storming/defending a royal palace that's being overrun by its own knights who are planning a coup (i think I haven't played in a while) The reason these songs have weird subtitles is because most songs have multiple versions. Paradise, for example, has a calmer exploration version which plays when you're walking around the palace, and a battle version, which is what you heard, which plays seamlessly from the other song when you're engaging the rogue knights
Tales of Arise is a great 2021 Action JRPG (the 17th game in the series I think), with a lot of great battle themes, but my favorite song was a late-game location theme (the name would be a spoiler) that was really more of a character theme because it only involved instruments that a particular character (and his friends) played. The combat speed and complexity can be a little hectic at times (real-time combo-focused) so it's often hard to focus on the music in the moment, so at least for me the appreciation came later.
I think I know which song you’re talking about, and I love it, too. The song’s title and the song itself wrap up the character’s arc in a neat little bow.
I wanted to request the original Flame of Hope so much 😊 This version is cool too though I would definitely recommend to check out Flame of Hope normal version. I was thinking you'd really like that one (and I won't say why to keep the surprise)
Oh some people in the comments really dont like Arise huh I enjoyed it ,it was my second (technically third.but uh,my first one was the wii one when i was like.12. Im 27 now) tales game after Berseria. My friend who has played a bunch of the other Tales games also really enjoyed it. This game really splits the groups
Gonna note Sakuraba has done the osts for most Tales games (not all...In Legendia and Zestiria Go Shiina does all of the track in the former, a handful of songs in the later). While most Tales fans say his music for Tales feels too generic/samey (note I'm specifying Tales game to Tales game, not Tales game to non Tales game) and kinda want someone else to do it from now on (like Go-Shiina for example) I'm more than ok with Sakuraba's work in Tales as they're alls till good imo. This one was one of the main battle themes the game uses for their random encounters (they have about 3 that change depending on which half/arc of the game you're on). From what I remember this is either the 2nd or 3rd main battle theme and is basically a remix/re-arrangement of the original battle theme or a ost that re-uses a few beats of the original first battle theme used at the start of the game.
Paradise of Coexistence Fabrication is my favorite song in the game. Tales of Arise takes place in a world where all the people are enslaved. This song plays in the first place that has a benevolent ruler who doesn't enslave his people. There is actually a really calm version of this song that plays in the palace, which has a very regal vibe. The version you listened to is a much more intense rock version of the same song that plays as you are fighting your way through the same castle to prevent a coup, which does a really good job at representing the chaos of the situation, proving that this paradise of coexistence is just a fabrication.
Honestly really unfortunate that the original Flame of Hope wasn't requested, it's like the most obvious song to request off of this game because of [reasons]. This version is still good, but... I guess the video title is also a little misleading because of that hah
I would love to see you react to the Mega Man X Dive ending theme "Recognize" one day. Nobody else has reacted to it and i think it's a really good song that is sadly overlooked so far.
I'm about to finish the game today. I have like maybe an hour or two left. great timing. The music has been cool so far but man Tales of is not for me. It's my first Tales of, and the battle system and writing just aren't my thing. I had a big 4 months break, and when coming back I felt like I knew the music (Flames of Hope in particular) from Baten Kaitos and not Tales of, that was weird. But yeah, ToA, I'd say it's a solid 6/10 (a true 6/10, so above average, but barely. not a video game industry journalist 6/10, because that would be the lowest possible grade since everything's a 8 or 9 to them). and that's including my bias of it not being my style, so it's likely better than that, actually I cannot NOT see some very obvious parallels to Xenogears in the story though, that was funny to notice
Okay had to get this one out: Tales of Arise is a mixed bag tbh and it doesn't help that the last act is extremely rushed, it differs from the older titles quite a bit and recommending someone to start with Arise as their first Tales experience is tough imo. I do recommend giving the other titles a chance though.
The way Sakuraba orchestrated Tales of Arise made me think a lot about Baten Kaitos as well. Like his whole style in Arise is closer to GBA/Game Cube era of his works than what he did later in his career. I won't complain about it though as most of my favorite tracks from him are from this era. For the game itself, the fight system was overall enjoyable to me as a fan of the Tales of. The story was "okay"-ish but clearly far from the best when compared to the rest of the series. (that's just a personal opinion). Don't hesitate to give a try to another one if you have the opportunity, like a big sale on steam. I think Vesperia is among the most popular and it's recent remake/HD edition is good. It's fine if you don't like it though, we all have different tastes.
Tales of Arise is well-known to be a TERRIBLE Tales game. Do not, by any means, let ARISE of all games influence your opinion on the series. The developers explicitly stated that Arise is them trying to take the series "in a new direction", but they have fundamentally changed the Tales formula SO much that the game barely resembles a Tales game. The writing is atrocious, most of the characters are flat, boring, annoying, or poorly written, the plot itself is utterly basic, the primary romance is forced and awkward as all hell, the combat is AWFUL (I can and have written whole dissertations on how bad it is), and many Tales staples (like skits, for example) were either changed for the worse or removed entirely. Please, for the love of all things good and decent, do not let Arise commit yet another act of evil by scaring off a potential newcomer to the series with its stench. As a personal recommendation, as a Tales veteran, here are the games I would suggest checking out. If you want story above all else, Tales of Symphonia UNARGUABLY has the best story. So good, in fact, that Bamco has been trying and failing to recapture that game's magic ever since, and their other most plot-praised game - Xillia - is basically just using Symphonia's framework. Symphonia is THE quintessential Tales story experience. The version available on Steam is probably the best version modernly available, but the PS4 version is also an option. If you want gameplay above all else, Tales of Graces f (the "f" is part of the title) recently got a remaster for PS4/5/Switch and has the best combat in the whole series by a wide enough margin that even people who do Combo MAD videos agree it's the best. The story is fine, but clearly not the focal point. Be warned, though, there is no *required* grinding for beating the game, but you ARE encouraged to do a lot of grinding if you want more attacks. So much of your power comes from the game's title system, which takes a long time to grind out. Worth it, absolutely, but keep in mind that the game caaaan be a little difficult if you don't put some conscious effort into powering up your characters. However, if you do, the game rewards you for it handsomely. If you want a moderate balance between gameplay and story, Xillia is honestly a good choice, BUT I would still recommend Tales of the Abyss instead, mainly because it's just as good and much earlier in the series, I believe it has a much better plot and WAY better characters, and the combat is still pretty good. The Tales games are not plot connected, but playing the games in release order is still usually preferred just so you have a better appreciation for how the games evolved over time. Plus, a lot of the best games are in that middle era. Extra note: Vesperia is not good, despite how popular it is. It was originally the only Tales game available on Xbox, a western-focused console, which made it many westerners' first Tales game, which biased them heavily. The characters range from genuinely likable to flat-out hysterically poorly written, lots of characters lose their charm the further into the story you get, the combat...has potential, but is lacking in many ways with major difficulty spikes, weird mechanics, and blatantly unfair bosses, and the story is just duuuuuuuumb. People WILL recommend this game up and down and sideways, but if you're going to play it, DO NOT have it be the first (second?) Tales game you play.
Tales of Arise's soundtrack has these crazy SNES vibes that Lufia II brought us - It's soooo glorious!

Congrats on the debut of another Tales of game. Just 20+ more to go!
TALES OF ARISE HYPE~!

Second this. They are very different but both so good.
Yes the normal one is really good
oh, Flame of Hope -Sublimation-, a battle theme for the second half of the game. I hope you check out original.
Oh some people in the comments really dont like Arise huh
I enjoyed it ,it was my second (technically third.but uh,my first one was the wii one when i was like.12. Im 27 now) tales game after Berseria. My friend who has played a bunch of the other Tales games also really enjoyed it. This game really splits the groups

Hoping someone requests some of Sakuraba's live performances!
Tales of Arise rocks! Don't care what the haters say!!
I love Tales of Arise as well. The haters are a vocal minority. Most people enjoyed the game.
I've never played this but I know the soundtrack because it's pure Sakuraba.

Tales of Arise had some great music. Too bad the game itself is HOT GARBAGE. It's pretty-looking, awesome-sounding garbage, but garbage nonetheless.
