And did you have one RA per hall? So approx how many RAs to student ratio? Did you like your RA? Any info about some of that would be great thank you!
Not quite sure what you are asking... But your RA differs by the dorm you in. You won't have the same one everyday
@@TaiGot2MuchTV wow! Thank you for your quick response! I am an RA for a job corp but am fairly new to the position . And each RA has a small office that is attached to a hall of approx 24 students. As an RA we are basically assigned to “our hall” . So the general care? Help with supplies? Support? Etc. As a general rule the RA takes care of the hall with the students attached to that small office. But MOST times.. there is only ONE RA to TWO halls. So for example ONE RA will be taking care of close to 50 students. And I’m trying to figure out if that’s pretty standard? Or should there be more RAs? Or do I have a good gig with “only 40-50 students assigned to me?
As an RA, on my two days off, the other RAs do my hall and on their days off I do their halls, etc. And all the RAs do help with any student or any hall as needed at times of lunch breaks or someone calls in sick etc. But as an RA I do have my basic office that I can decorate as needed. And arrange to suit my needs, but another RA could use it if needed as well.. So it is “my office” but yet it isn’t as ALL RAs keys can open my office if I’m not there and use it if they wanted to.. It has seating in it for if students want to come in the office and chat? I try to always keep enough copies of all their cleaning sheets etc. And try to keep extra snacks, TP, pads/tampax etc for moments when I don’t want to go to the supply room at midnight for such things :)
And if anything in “my hall” has an issue I’m basically the one responsible for it. So if someone is having hygiene issues in my hall. I would be the one responsible to bring them into “my office” and talk to them about it and possibly put them on a hygiene contract or something. And when we do ILS. I am responsible to do that with the students in my hall.. And SPERS.. My hall.. etc. etc.
You have a list if what your responsible for.....Seems like you one of them Nice RAs.... 😉 most RA would be rude and tell ppl that smell really bad.... To know you would pull them to the side is cool.... But them kids are grown.... We shouldn't have to tell a grown person to bathe 🤣🤣
What if u have no crimnal history but cant afford collage and wanna go there and is it like jail shouls i aprroach it like it

Hello I wanted to know if I could bring my health vitamins like (liquid vitamins)and or hard pill form vitamins? Like vitamin c and fish oil pills?
Yes you can.... But be sure to let job corp know though.... That reason being some facilities/campus may not allow it...Because it wasnt provided by the Nurse at Job Corps itself. They also search your belongings so be mindful of that....But if its just vitamins and supplements I don't see why they shouldn't 😊

@@TaiGot2MuchTVYes i have , i’m actually in the application process with my second interview tomorrow, i actually did not know that if i was living with someone else and don’t have a home of my own i can still attend

@@TaiGot2MuchTV I sent in an application 2 weeks ago in a recruiter called me within 2-3 days and help me with the rest like my id n birth certificate in stuff but she she called me this morning and I told her my situation and she said that they’ll respond faster since my situation but how long do you think it’s gon take for me to find out my start date since I let them know my home situation.
@camronhilliard2454 not sure...You just half to wait for them to call...Make sure your phone is on at all times....Give them an alternate number just in case....They should tell you what numb they are going to call from.... Sounds like to me your all in good Standing...if they not responding fast enough call the job corps your going to or call your recruiter to keep an update on your situation so you can get in faster...Hope that helps😊
