Boy, what a happy day. Your lessons are the most terrific ones i´ve ever watched on the internet. Thanks a lot to you and your whole crew for the iniciative. For our sake: Keep rockin´!
I know it's sort of a plug for the store-- but I love how Andy describes the to achieve the tonal aspects of the playing with the equipment... as opposed to just a 'playing' centered focus.
When I saw "Creep" I thought "What will he use for the Tremolo and to get that right?" Not only was this fun but educational to hear the pedals in action for parts of the song.
Tom Morello himself actually has some great tutorials which can be found on youtube, check it out! He doesn't break everything down, but he goes through the crazy sounds and for the riffs, for an intermediate guitarist the you can use your eyes and ears, (for a beginner you can use your eyes and hears and a lot of hard work, and learn something haha)
Thanks Andy, I just subbed after hearing your Sabbra Cadabra vid. If I want to see how something is played, I check to see if you have done it first. Your lessons and demos are spot-on!
Brilliant PGS is becoming true consultative sales. Andy please. Pressure them for partnership %. What you've done over the past 3-4 yrs has changed the game for everyone. PGS competition has to take notice.
For a brief period about 10 years ago we did about 100 "Riff of the Day" lessons. I hope you find them helpful! You can see my current videos on Reverb and AndyDemos channels. Thanks!
I realize this is an old video but with, ill try anyways.....How does one get the "drum" solo he plays along with???? that would be soooo helpful to play along too. Any help would be greatly appreciated of course! thanks
Lindsay Elliott just search up “creep Radiohead” and scroll down to a vid that the thumbnail is Phil and is called something like “creep drums only” I think
Ok I have found out which Telecaster he is using in the chorus: Its a "Fender Mahogany Telecaster 2TSB" of fenders "Telebration"-Series, this means only 500 have been built in this sunburst color. You can watch this beauty in action here: /watch?v=MnzTExjyS9I
Actually, I don't think he his using a pick here; he just holds his thumb and index in a way that mimics a pick. look around the 1:00 mark and as he finishes playing, his fingers part and there is no pick.
That distortion sounds amazing
Love that sunburst tele! Nice Job!
That is quite the compliment, and we thank you.

This series is too awesome! Keep'em coming!
It's the Malekko Wolfetone Sloika. It's an incredible pedal.
that is one killer looking guitar, love that color, great lesson as always and amazing tone as usual from this channel!
Thanks for the response and info! Really enjoying the ROTD vids!
It's a 60th Anniversary Mahogany Telecaster. It was a limited run Telecaster that was part of their Tele-bration series.
I know it's sort of a plug for the store-- but I love how Andy describes the to achieve the tonal aspects of the playing with the equipment... as opposed to just a 'playing' centered focus.
Great Andy,love it
Love it.. Thanks Andy looking forward to the next one.
Andy's becoming.. or have already become an Internet celebrity in the guitar community. Deservedly.
that moment when PGS makes lessons now as well as captivating pedal demoes and youre just in love with a guitar shop
I actually thought about picking one up myself. There are still a few around; a couple were on ebay last time I checked.
best lessons on youtube already..cheers
Kool!... i was looking to see how Jonny Greenwood did those tricks all day after i saw creep video!
yeah I couldn´t find a tele in with these exact specifications either. don´t think its a new model because this wasn´t presented on NAMM
I appreciate the info man! THANKS!
When I saw "Creep" I thought "What will he use for the Tremolo and to get that right?" Not only was this fun but educational to hear the pedals in action for parts of the song.

It was only a matter of time before a Radiohead vid. I can tell Andy is a massive fan.

Just in case... a Hot Rodded Set is composed by a SH-4 (JB) for the bridge and SH-2n (Jazz Model) for the neck. Cheers!
this is awesome
The Semaphore Tremlo plus the Tele make it sound practically the same as on the album.
these videos are awesome, you should consider doing some white stripes or maybe RATM or audioslave!
What kind of Tele is that with the humbucker? Never seen that before.
What kind of Tele is that one that you use in the second part???
Brilliant PGS is becoming true consultative sales. Andy please. Pressure them for partnership %. What you've done over the past 3-4 yrs has changed the game for everyone. PGS competition has to take notice.

For a brief period about 10 years ago we did about 100 "Riff of the Day" lessons. I hope you find them helpful! You can see my current videos on Reverb and AndyDemos channels. Thanks!

Could you do Plug in Baby by Muse?
A biffy clyro lesson would be awesome
He already did the Black Keys, but another one would be awesome ;)
What Tele is the sunburst Tele with the HB in the bridge?
Dan Rodriguez Tele Deluxe
Couldn't find anything on Fender's site, so unless I'm proven wrong, maybe this was Andy's way of showcasing his new signature Telecaster. :^)
What kind of tele is that?
same layout as the tele plus?? What tele is that!!
Telebration Tele! How did you like that one Andy?
Anyone else going to watch the Radio Head Creep video, right after the lesson?
Nope
The Les Paul is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker set.

Please do a Muse tutorial, or a RATM tutorial :D
So fu*king pretty man.
A Pink Floyd, or Hebdrix lesson would be cool...

this guy is so money
Wow, how did he get so much sustain on that chord........
Agreee
Keep the radiohead coming - last 3 albums...or even JUST from Bends
Actually, I don't think he his using a pick here; he just holds his thumb and index in a way that mimics a pick. look around the 1:00 mark and as he finishes playing, his fingers part and there is no pick.
Doing this will sell pedals faster than the normal demos will. Let's hear some Zeppelin, Coldplay, and U2!
love the semaphore.but a Big Muff sounds more like it when the dirt kicks in....just sayin...
We have to add the intro. Thanks!
