James Brown was a-BEAST-when it came to dancing also,you see Mike was mimicking Brown when he was a youngster. Jackie Wilson was a-BEAST-at dancing too. I would hope one day you'd do a segment on Oaktown 357 group and Big Leggs ( the black,female dancer who danced in the intro for Living Single ) these black women gets no publicity for modern audiences of today.

Here’s my issue with that statement. I don’t think you can be “better” at something when the ground work was laid out for you. You should be taking the craft to the next level. James Brown and MJ didn’t have the advantage of RUclips or whatever technology and videos like that. They had to see some moves and make it there own in order to become great dancers. They also made their style unique to where if you do the footwork JB does or if you do the backslide (moonwalk) with some of the popping and tap dance style footwork he did people say you are dancing like MJ. Chris Brown is a monster and I’m his era he’s the top dancer imo with Omarion being right behind him. Imo Usher is a better performer than those two but once again being younger they had access to more resources than Usher so they should be more refined with there dancing.
Mase wrapped all the pages of the Bible with marijuana and smoked or the money that Puff stole from him is ruining his head. Michael Jackson is completely different, unique, unparalleled perfectionist, source of inspiration for all these musicians of his time and those who came after, his legacy is incredible, untouchable, incomparable and immeasurable.

However… he doesn’t have their stage presence nor their branding.
Usher and MJ had iconic moves that audiences couldn’t wait to see. It was also something that made it easy to refer to them and for fans to imitate them.
Chris Brown doesn’t have that. No iconic moves. And he doesn’t have the stage psychology that Mike and Usher have. He just dances exceptionally well lol.

Chris is better. Just because Michael and Usher were first doesn’t mean better. Michael and Usher are great but too choreographed . Usher really isn’t that great a dancer but he is smooth .
All Michael did great was robotics and moonwalk he was better younger the older he got it seems too rehearsed and predictable . Chris can do all types of dances off the cuff and makes them all look good
