Dude, they have the opposite problem in Japan, too many jobs and too few people, so they have robots help out where ever they can, instead of exploiting immigrants and shaming them afterwards, because they came in the first place.

Ugh, being ill is so hard if one is trying to be creative. (Filming, editing, AND being an informative presenter...that's a lot of work!) Take it as easy as you can, as there's a weird flu-like virus going around this season; it will appear resolved, but then it relapses and lasts several more weeks with coughing and overall weakness.

I haven't been subscribed to your channel long, about 2 weeks, but during those 2 weeks i've watch all 90+ videos of yours. Your characteristic sarcasm and lack of "over-enthusiasm" (a good thing, like what you mentioned in your Satirical Vlog) gives me, the viewer, a certain feeling that you're a lot more adapted to Japan, compared with other vloggers who seem more like holiday tourists rather than residents. I just wanted to give you my thanks for entertaining me and giving me a beautiful insight into Japan! Going forward into 2017 I would love to see you do some more city life videos :) things like "Nightlife in Japan" and "Rush hour in Tokyo" sort of thing :) it would also be good to see a Geisha video from you, too.
Once again, thank you so much, keep up the high quality work!

I loved watching him take down some of the more massive creatures and just seeing that tech next to the primitive setting of the game. I'm nearly thirty and I don't think I'm ever going to give up video games. The way I see it, adults made these games, so why shouldn't I enjoy them too? :)

Naturally, it's not compatible with absolutely anything you're doing on your phone, but it was nifty. I just found your channel, but I have so much to say so buckle up, everyone.
I seriously think it's absolutely remarkable how much effort goes into these videos. I find them hilarious, informative, and centered around one of my biggest interests: You.
    Jk. Japan hahaha
But the best part of that is, it doesn't feel like you're showing yourself off all soaked and marinated in how much "Japanese" you've been able to become- it genuinely feels like you're introducing cool parts of the culture and fun places and awesome food. And you just happen to be the hilarious narrator. I have found a new love for Japan and especially the parts I wasn't too interested in before- like the food. Seeing how comfortable you are, and especially seeing the friends you've made has broken a barrier and a discomfort I previously felt at the thought of going to Japan myself- I held it and its people on this pedestal, and was scared of approaching it. But it just sounds like so much fun, and a place to meet people and make friends. The barriers don't need to be there- and I love that so much.
I appreciate, too, that a lot of your videos don't have tons of swearing (tho when it happens it makes it even funnier) but particularly in your food videos, I feel totally comfortable showing my family members. That's just a nice bonus.
You can see how much people appreciate these videos, because the like to dislike ratio is insane! I love your hate comment vids, though- my dad loved Top Gear and your humor reminds me of the driest, most hilarious people from that show.
Also, seeing all of your tips for learning Japanese pushed me past this block I've been having, and I feel inspired to keep learning. I have bad social anxiety, but watching you speak to people in Japanese and be yourself has made me feel ready to try conversing with people. And, also, I want to start learning kanji again! And I hate learning kanji.
You are just a unique, fresh perspective when it comes to vloggers in Japan, but I also love all of the channels listed on your home page. It's introduced me to a lot of the culture that I wasn't too interested in before! Thank you for posting these for us to enjoy, and sharing your experience. Just hilarious. So hilarious.
Can't wait for the next vid!

That and next time have someone else record your tedtalk for those of us waiting.

Lol you are actually my favourite RUclipsr, your videos are so good to relax to and have a good laugh at (coming from a fellow Brit, loving the dry sense of humour!). Me and my friends are currently doing our GCSEs but we are making plans to go on a 2 week trip to Japan after our A Levels, fitting in as much as we can by bullet train including Mt Fuji, Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto and of course, Tokyo! If you read this comment, could you give us some guidance on what the daily costs might be like and on top of that, are there any places that you would recommend as a must visit place when we go to Japan? I've got to say, I'm really looking forward to climbing Mt Fuji and if I've learned anything from your vlog, we will definitely book a room in one of those lodges up it! Haha, thanks for reading this comment (if you did in the first place; how the heck am I meant to know, I've just assumed that if you have read this far you have probably read the comment), keep up with the brilliant content!

I find the random need to capitalise individual words without consistency rather odd, like what are you doing, shouting BUT or quizzically exclaim it, and if so why don't we have a quizzical font already, or are lower case letters just for the lower class.
Also random point that has now got me thinking, how do syllabic based languages, like Japanese, portray such capitalising thoughts?

Oh my god! The poor robots! I am a robot expert myself (even though one died when I tried to give it water, I dunno why) and these poor creatures belong in the wild! These disgusting and cruel humans are abusing them for their own amusement. Sickening!
