  • Follow us on a journey with incredible history across the UP from the Pacific to Chicago. This video is a celebration of the original UP from the 1950s to its full size by 1996. See lots of early diesel power and vintage Cajon and California action. Then we explore the UP in the 1990s when it expanded rapidly to remain a competitive player in the rail business. This video is from movie film and early video shot years ago.
D-130 UNION PACIFIC SCRAPBOOK Model Railroad News:
This is a large helping of trains at 1hr and 42 minutes! Charles Smiley gives us lots to enjoy. He still operated the premier video recovery system around and gives us footage that has been cleaned up, brightened, sharpened, and smoothly edited! I enjoyed every minute of this scrapbook on the UP and look forward to watching it again soon!”
See the parade of C&NW power after the 1995 merger. Visit many of the former SP lines with UP power in charge since 1996. Some material is from an early video,"UP Mojave Gateway" with enhancement by digital processing.
