The big boss called him upon his behaviour and now he apologised... it was me watching the situationeel as a third person ... very weird. Didn't touch me emotionally one bit.

I can resonate with your daughter Mel. My partner with whom I wanted to marry just broke up with me a week back. I am having sudden fits of rage and just zoning out thinking about what could have been. While listening to this conversation, I deleted whatever pictures I had of her and us as I realised I was getting sucked into that vortex of what could have been. Every point you spoke about heartbreaks is true in my case and I thank you for helping me. I am not angry with her, I wish the best for her and I am just letting her leave and move on. Thank you :)

We recently got engaged and some of our family members were upset that they weren't told ahead of time that it was going to happen or weren't present on the day it happened, we don't even live in the same state. Why did they turn it around on them instead of being happy for us? We just let them be and moved on to the wedding planning stages.

I feel like I am having a full circle of my life experience with the Let Them Theory. People always say you are so strong and you are so strong headed but the reality is that I always, always applied this feeling of "Well you have and you will and you do [so I let you] and then you need to leave me the hell alone so that I can. There is so much POWER. So much in how break this down to us Mel. I can not wait to get my copy of your book, you are all over my vision board! What I would love to see next is the actually story of your life in how this has brought you here and I feel there is where the POWER truly sits in your story. This book is just the beginning xoxo

You know, if you insist or try to get something, the other part (if is in the mood) creates the opposition or resistance towards your hopes, but if you vibration tells: "Let you..." there is nothing that the other part can resist or oppose. Hopefully I made my point.

Mel, I'm so glad you brought up "the money for everything" line Jay said. What a clever way to look at your personal worth and then where to invest, solely on what is best for you.
Your gem Mel, let them be disappointed. Its a compliment you can hold onto when youre sad about the situation. You flipped, what could be a stressful situation, into a positive one! Wow, that total scenario got turned on its ass! Brilliant. I think this is the most insightful and coherent podcast I've ever watched. You two work off eachother well. Thx for stimulating my brain for a change, refreshing.
Hey, gonna follow both of ya now. Cheers.
You're both worth my energy and time!

My Dad taught me this same principle when I was a kid and I am now 57. It’s not a new way of thinking.
Each person can realize this at their own time in Life.
Thankfully, what my Dad taught me has worked well for me all these decades…and still does. ❤

I am doing this book as my Book Club because it is very thought-provoking. Having said that, the idea that we need to understand that people are busy (at around 50:00) and have their own things going on and that may be the reason messages go unanswered, does not sit well with me and my value system. In saying that they are busy, we are giving people a free pass to be abusive, impolite and not follow simple etiquette. Clearly this behaviour is something I take umbrage to as I firmly believe that no one is too busy - it just depends on where you are on their priority list. Just my two cents ... but once again, I like videos that are food for thought and give me a launch pad from which to question, assess and dive deep into ideas that I may have not otherwise had.

Let them be busy and let them prioritise other things or other people. There's your truth. And then you decide where you focus your time, which probably won't be them.
