HVAC SYSTEM DESIGN TUTORIAL-Taco Hydronic Software- How to generate HVAC schematic FAST? Part 1

This is 34th HVAC SYSTEM DESIGN Tutorial for beginners. In this tutorial, we will:
- Continue introduction of the TACO Hydronic System Solution software and its application in HVAC system Design
- Establish and create hydronic schematic design for a single loop served by fan coil unit systems (heating/cooling) based on a series of pre-determined assumptions for this example.
- Utilizing the TACO Hydronic System Solution software, we create a schematic design for a four-pipe fan coil system for this building in a matter of few minutes. Separate schematic for both heating and cooling system will be generated.
- Analyze the pipe sizing/head loss calculation based on the criteria utilized by the software.
- Review method of showing/removing multiple parameters on schematic (flow/pipe diameter/ Temp. etc.)
- learn to adjust the heating capacity of all fan coil units at the same time ( Globally)
- Review the hydronic flow/Velocity/Pipe size/Head loss in each fan coil pipe branch and in main
- Review control valve pressure drop calculation as related to Cv equation
- Review automatic pipe sizing/Head loss adjustment
- learn to add length to a piece of pipe or fitting to schematic
- Review different methods of head loss calculation
- Learn to demonstrate and identify the system’s critical path for the maximum head loss across system
