- It's that time of year again where golf companies release their new and improved golf hardware range. In today's video, myself and Lee Whittaker will be giving a full review of the new Cobra LTDx Drivers, all three heads, in this one video.

7 handicapper, here. Used to be decent, but now am your typical play in league once a week and a scramble here and there. Used to hit blades and the low spin drivers religiously. Now that I dont play as often, looking for the clubs with a bit more forgiveness. Just had a driving fitting where I hit all the new drivers. I have been a Taylor Made or Titleist guy my entire life, and completely planned on walking away with either the new Stealth, or the TS3. After hitting all the drivers, the LTDx was by far the driver with the best results. I have never been a Cobra guy, but that has all changed. I strongly suggest hitting these drivers. Especially with it coming in $150 less than the Stealth. New Cobra fan, here.
So glad you guys have got to review these on the same day as everyone else , and what a review won't be bothering to watch anyone else's as yet again you guys have proved your the best on RUclips.

I know I’m broken record but hands down the best golf channel on RUclips and the only reviewer I pay any attention to.
Just got a ltdx LS a few weeks and what can say it’s amazing. Tried a dark speed LS and although I prefer the look of the dark speed the ltdx LS is just that little bit more forgiving and I saw little to no difference in distance between them so went with my wallet and saved some money 😂
Had cobra drivers in the bag for the last 3 years , absolutely love them

Went shopping with the wife last weekend and as you do "got a bit bored " so said i would call to american golf for a look around , had no intention of buying anything , using a ping 425 and love it had a go with the tm stelt ,callaway and the cobra , the ltd ls just blue me away , swing speed increases spin reduction and like you dan was shocked how straight it went , later that evening had to confess to my wife that i am changing my driver 😀

Had the Cobra Fly Z in the bag for 4 years, and as a backup to the F8 for 2 years. Hated the f9 but love the Cobra Speedzone Extreme which is in the bag with the f8 as my backup now. The Cobra LTDx looks like something to look at in 2023, really liking my SZEx. Great review as usual guys, thanks.
I’ll definitely test the LS model. Currently I play the SZ and a TM 300 Mini. I prefer smaller head profiles and need lower spin, as I tend to spin the ball up a lot. My SS is around 110-115, and I do not need help with launch so anything with high MOI and low spin is ideal here.
Hey guys Thank you for review loving the Honesty like I always say, that's a big reason I watch you guys!! I have a question maybe I can answer it myself but everyone loves the new tech and look coming out every year right, so do I wait for all the companies to come out with there new products or if I'm a fan let's say Callaway ,go and pick up the Rouge driver?? I think I'm like most people were I jump the gun because I love tietlists products but they take so long to come out with there new toys !! Anyway whata think about that question??
Some consumers are brand loyal and will stick to buying the latest driver etc from that company only. We all have different reasons for buying I guess Kevin.
Watched this review on an other channel, yours is miles ahead, well done, what has Lee done to his hair? has he had high lights or low lights applied ?

Being a Cobra fan and owner I'm pleased you gave them a thumbs up. I play with the Speedzone and it has made a real difference in finding fairways more frequently. The other reason is they're really good value for money when considering a £500 Stealth which may give you an extra 10-15 yards. Great review guys 👍🏻
I think as you state the price point is a great feature of the driver and is likely to attract a number of purchases as a result Andy!
The Cobra LS goes a bit further than the Stealth Plus. And sounds much better too. 😋

I watched a few YT channels doing their reviews of Cobras' 2022 offering and I'm surprised with how forgiving their LS version is. Everyone seems to be able to find the centre of the face

Currently use a Cobra SZ. Great club. I would be tempted to try these. Cobra price point is also a big consideration for me.
Yeah I think Cobra have pitched the club at a right price point Steve as you say.

The shaft Hzrdus smoke 6.0 and a Mitsubishi Tensei 65, both in a Stiff flex.
I've tried this driver and thought it was great and certainly thought of changing my callaway epic speed for it

They look good, I'm a fan of Cobra, but I'm playing a Ping driver at the moment, no plans to change yet
Make the change, the driver is absolutely insane. At the very least go try it. I am a scratch golfer, played the g400 on Average 280 carry. Sim2 275, stealth 285, rogue 285, cobra 305… it just comes off very hot

Good review and I would test all 3 but, I'm not in the driver market this year.
I think Cobra nailed it and will sell lots of those drivers. If I was in the market this year I would definitely look at them.

Great review guys and yes I do think it becomes very personal when choosing clubs and I have too admit that if I was in the market for a new driver I would definitely try it out I it’s rather hard to be honest where you can go too one place and try all these drivers out
I like the way you tested these drivers. I'm especially impressed by Lee's improvement since I first saw him on your channel. Would I test it for me? Probably not at this time. I currently use the TM M1 and I love it. But thanks Dan and Lee

I just bought this for 230€ brand new, it’ll arrive later this week, as a new player of only nine months we’ll see if it helps out or not. I also bought the mavrik for 230€ to make the comparison.
Bought the LTDX based on a few reviews only (didn’t even demo one). It’s one of the best drivers I’ve ever had in my bag! The reviews and head to head videos I watched were spot on.
Nicely and simply laid out. Do we think one of these might prise the F8 out of Bernie's claw?

Great review as always guys. Dan, I know you’re a titleist player but if there was no link to titleist and you were buying clubs, would this sneak in ahead of your TSI3?
I think performance wise the LS version was right where I would have it and the ball speed was very similar to TSi3. I think I prefer the cleaner look of the Titleist on top over the Cobra, but would definitely be happy to put both in the bag👍 I would not be saying that from F9, SZ, RadSpeed

Loved the Rad speed.....these look cool and at a great price point. Tips for #1 driver in 2022. This could be a surprise package vs the red face that could polarise the buying public

Great review Dan and Lee. Not that I need a new driver but really tempted by this cobra and the new callaway. Playing sim2 now but don’t fancy the stealth for some reason.

I like it but not enough to change Stephen, the current Titleist also goes further for me.
I use the F9 - have had Cobra woods in my bag for years. I like them, not sure there is enough movement in the model for me to upgrade- perhaps you reviews should look at the previous two releases to see how the tech has moved on?
I'm sure we will do a comparison against the older models at some time. Bernie still uses the F8, so maybe good to get his opinion.
What shaft did Cobra send with each head?
I'm a huge cobra supporter. With that said I traded in my speedzone for the cobra ltdx driver. I'm disappointed. Idk how to explain other then when you connect with the ball or feels and sounds different. The face feels like it's thicker. Since I switched I can't hit straight idk if it's a mental problem or what but I'm considering selling it and going back to the speedzone.

It would take a lot to get me away from my G410 however I did but the Radspeed 3wd last year and love it so anything is possible.. 🙈🙈

Looks good & I think an improvement on previous models, glad they are sticking to a below market price. Mainly due to ridiculous price of drivers now. Cobra make good equipment

Improvements are small. The looks are disappointing. The speedzone in my opinion is their best looking driver that performs outstanding. Forgiveness is the biggest improvement in this new driver which is why I traded my speedzone for the cobra ltdx. It's a nice driver its just the looks are disappointing. But overall it's worth buying and I'm happy with my purchase
I also think the Cobras are underrated, good to see competition for the big boys.

Know what you mean, Lee. Like you I've never got on with Cobra drivers but don't really know why. I'm looking to buy this year and I was going to look at last year's Epic and SIM rather than join the Stealth and Rogue trains. But given this review and the price point I will give Cobra another go.
Think the price point certainly makes the driver an attractive alternative to the other brands Andy!
These clubs do look good and not so much in your face, but have they also done a blue head? Also just seen they done for a junior golfer

Nice looking club, would probably retail for around $750 AUD. I like the matte finish similar to my Ping, not interested in a glossy crown anymore.

There so many drivers. I have g410 plus, no reason to change. In practice I not going get extra distance, forgiveness etc. I will hold on to my g410 for about 5-7 years.
Always been someone who said not to change unless theirs a noticeable improvement / gains Damien.
I'm really wanting to go for the LS. I've looked at a ton of reviews and they are all saying the same thing. Price/ Performance, it cannot be beaten.
These look good but I have an F9 that I refit to my specs. Got it “old”, saved some cash 💰, and had money left over for an F9 3 wood

They seem to be a combo of TM with all the carbon and callaway with AI face. F Great price as well, worth a try when in the market for a new big stick.

Good review Gents. I do find Lees mental block to Cobra drivers a bit strange however, especially after the shots he hit!
Comparing these to the other new 2022 drivers, if you're after value for money the Cobras are a no brainer.

I got my Radspeed xb last season and don't see a reason to switch it. All my friends play the sim2 and are in the market for the stealth now. I don't see a reason, why i should buy a new driver to gain 5 yds. I would rather spend the money for some lessons to increase my club speed.
Each to there own I guess. Some people like shinny new toys.
Always prefer on course testing. Indoors should just be for numbers. Cheers.

Can I allow myself a second comment? Cobra produce a range called F Max now F Max Airspeed, these are never mentioned on RUclips but are very interesting for the normal maybe older club players and women. It’s probably because they don’t suit the male pro golfer reviewer. Any thoughts?
I think you have hit the nail on the head. The shaft options are unlikely to suit most tester who are similar profile to us Paul. It was a very popular range, when we retailed at Torquay.

Always thought Cobra offered the best bang for buck, but not sure £399 is going to be enough of a differential to sway people away from Stealth and Rogue...

I’ll happily stick with my Radspeed. I like the infinity wrap around face. Don’t get Lee’s comments about not liking Cobra drivers yet then says it reminds him of his Sim 2? Would have preferred to see Lester bomb a few or Coach James.

For me no that's no because I don't like it its because I only got my rad speed 6 months ago and I love it so I can't see me buying a new driver for a few years if I was in the market fo a new driver I would definitely be testing this 1

Don’t care what is it just , whatever works and fits my swing .
Outside on the course is all that matters. I hate testing anything in the studio.
I would always recommend testing on a golf course, unfortunately I didn't have the drivers long enough to conduct that test before embargo.

I love my pings but i just ordered the cobra forge tec irons as i was hitting them 30-60yds further than my pings and im about to order a cobra driver to finish the new set. Its definitely a brand to consider.
I will not pay 600 dollars for any driver. Cobra will be considered with Mizuno
cobra convert since F9, premium drivers without the premium price. Whats not to love.

Maybe unfortunate use of words as you say Stephen, although we often get people dismiss a product because of brand. Some are brand loyal and others are brand snobs.

I unfortunately didn’t have the luxury of watching a rick Shiels review prior to this being filmed and nothing on our release and spec notes said what LTD actually stands for.
You don’t get along with their drivers and that’s the clubs they make the best of😂🤣😂
