I just lost one of my bunnies today, he was a beautiful ginger that got flystrike. It was very severe and we had to get him put down. I used to watch this channel and I came back to it now to help. Rest in peace bun bun, I love you ❤️
Happy to see they are both still doing well! I’ve watched them for the past 3 yrs since I got my bun Henny. They will be missed... once this channel changes.
Mine love the bathroom in the summer. They’ve explored the whole flat. I love how curious they are. It’s so funny when they try to climb up the wall then remember they are rabbits and can’t. They also slip on the wooden floor 😂😂

Hey :) been following you for a while and I love your videos!!! Is there somewhere where I can message you just to ask for advice? I have recently tried bonding my two rabbits and I just have a few questions regarding that.
Hey! I have a question... In the back of our garden we have a fairly decent size bungalow. There's another garage, my mum's office, my dad's office and there's a spare room on the end! It quite dirty, but has a good amount of natural light in, I don't know the measurements for it but I know that it is bigger than 8 x 8 feet. Would this be a good place to keep a bunny? I would let it roam around the room, and give it lots of toys! My birthday is coming up and all I really would like is a rabbit! - Immy
Hey, that room sounds like a great place to keep a bunny. Indoors, lots of space, natural light. Your birthday may have already passed but bunnies are great with proper care so good luck :)
Awww love you bunnies so sorry I can not remember their names but their cute and I love how one of them puts its eat up and the other just like nah I'm a lop😃😃😃😍😍😍💖💖💕💕❤️❤️💞💞♥️♥️💜💙💙💙💙
I love you StormyRabbits :) Ps. I just made a bunny youtube channel, thank you for inspiring me to start one! Feel free to leave a constructive comment or tell me what video to do next! I love the bunny community and I'm honored to have a free roam bunny! xx
Did Misty used to struggle before you put her down? I noticed she was so calm. My bun Daisy acts like I am gonna drop her every time I put her down on the floor. I adopted her 2 months ago from a hoarding situation so she seems to have a lot of bad experiences in her past but luckily she doesn't hate humans... just scared of certain things like being picked up and put down... being on a lap or anything above the ground... I try to gently place her on the ground but she struggles like a wild bun every time as if she thinks I am gonna drop her. I have always gently placed her down whenever I pick her up which is very rarely because of how much Daisy hates it. I am just wondering if eventually she will stop acting like I am going to drop her. Thanks
Trader Dave I have an adopted rabbit whom was found in a field. I have no idea what happened to her. She also hates being picked up in any fashion. I’ve had her for about a year now and she is still afraid of being lifted, but I haven’t really worked a bunch on lifting her seeing as I don’t have a reason to. Good luck! 🍀
@@savanna1749 I was hoping she would eventually get over it. My bun is absolutely terrified if she is picked up... her breathing becomes rapid and heavy and she trembles... she turns and digs her claws into my chest hanging on. I am very gentle and careful with her always and always am very careful when placing her down so there is 0 drop. It doesn't matter though as she is always terrified. When I try placing her on my lap she freaks out and starts digging into my body like mad as if she was going to dig through my body and onto the floor. If I put her on the sofa or bed she will ignore everything and seek to get off and onto the floor as quick as bunnily possible. I have no idea what happened to her in her former life but it must have really traumatized her. She is fine as long as her 4 paws are on the ground... and she enjoys being rubbed and loved... but you have to lie down and be on her level. I noticed she is scared if you walk near her on 2 legs. Once I get down and she sees it is me she is fine and relaxed and never runs away but comes to me.
That is exactly constant with my rabbit, I also do not know what past traumas happened to my baby. I’m not saying that your rabbit won’t eventually be okay with being picked up I just wanted to let you know that mine isn’t, at least not yet. It is probably a case of slowly working at it, maybe start with sitting on the floor and placing treats by your legs, then maybe on your legs, then placing your hand under her while she is on your lap, ect. Rabbits, regardless of trauma, don’t usually enjoy being picked up, but they usually don’t mind being in your lap. We both have something to work on with our rabbits. Don’t be disheartened, please, it is just something that will most likely take time.
Another thought that occur to me was it may just be that she isn’t exactly used to you. If she was at a hoarding situation then she probably didn’t get a ton of socializing, if any at all. 2 months isn’t super long. Imagine if you were in a place where these creatures much bigger than you were picking you up. Your bunny may not have fully learned that you won’t hurt her . Rabbits are prey creatures, as I am sure you know, therefor they aren’t super comfortable with creatures that are above them, she may still be adjusting.
@@savanna1749 Well I have spent a lot of time with her... hanging out with her in her enclosure. She loves being pet and goes into bunny nirvana when I rub her head and ears... she teeth purrs and then she will lick my face and arm after she is loved. She really doesn't fear me except when I am tromping around on 2 legs towering above her... then she can think I am chasing her sometimes until I crouch down and get down near her and then she doesn't seem to fear me as she recognizes that it is me. I hand feed her treats and give her lots of loving and attention. I don't ever get the impression she fears me... but maybe just things humans did in the past bring back some memories when she doesn't know it is me.
They are so adorable! Big fan of your channel since even before I got my first bunny who sadly passed away this year. I wish my bunny would be allowed inside, it would save a lot of pain. Anyways, I really love your channel and good luck for you and your rabbits

Hi Abby! I have a big problem with my free roam bunny, he keeps peeing on my bed. I have to either buy a new bed with high walls or keep him in a pen (which I will not do). Do you have a way of training them to not pee on a bed? He is litter trained but acts like he forgets all about that when he's on my bed. :(
Hey, bunnies peeing on the bed is a common behaviour. If your familiar with Lennon the bunny she has a video on ways to stop your bunny peeing on your bed. It’s your bunnies way of saying you belong to them. It’s an annoying behaviour but essentially when your bunny pees on your bed you need to clear away the smell and neutralise the space /territory. If your bunny is less than a year old they may also grow out of it, good luck :)
