You are my favorite living pianist. Not only are you a great pianist, you are also a great and imaginative musician, superbly partnered here by another great musician. You and the orchestra never force, no matter how loud the music. You also find more details in this magnificent concerto than I have ever before heard. While there might be no 'best' pianist as such, Yevgeny Sudbin must surely rank in any true music-lover's list of the world's top ten. Personally I've yet to hear any performance by him that is less than wonderful, both technically & musically.
