"Frequencies are inverses of distances." Beautiful. First time this sentence comes to my ear, unless it was long ago. Thank you so much & happy 2025!

Indeed, although it’s a bit more sublte. I believe a good way to think about it is that you have regular space, and then its dual space. In physics we often call this the Fourier or momentum representation, because it conveys our (x,t) dynamics in terms of (p, omega). So really x is conjugate to p (momentum) and t is conjugate to omega (frequency) - this Fourier transform also explain exactly the x,p and t,E uncertainty relations in QM, since energy E is a function of frequency.

Awesome! and 2:08 is a similarity of Cedric Villani as a modern-day Fourier as he is not only a top mathematician but also elected as a deputy in the National Assembly from 2017 to 2022

Thank you so much for presenting Cederic Villiani. His works on optimal transport are the defining cornerstone of today's generative image modeling via diffusion. A genius for sure.

And you can generate artificial images and videos with tools like Stable Diffusion today thank to the awesome contributions of Prof. Villiani to Optimal Transport Theory and its connections to Differential Equations and Dissipative Structures ....

Interestingly the Fourier transform is a specific adaptation for frequency of the laplace transform, so laplace transform is more robust and complete rather than Fourier transform

I've attended one of Villani's conferences at INSA Lyon in Nov. 2023. He's such a great speaker and a good explainer despite his deep mastery.

Joseph Fourier was a great mathematician. Excellent video. I have developed a new way of developing spirals, as a mother pattern of all spirals, I have written a book on this subject. If you want to see the equations I have written you can see the videos on my channel and the scientific notes I have written. Additionally. I have developed the theory of Trigonometric Partitions with which I can create wavelets and the graph of the uncertainty principle and wave packet of Schrodinger Equation, without using complex numbers, the Fourier series and its transforms.
Wavelets as a function of Frequency, Angular Velocity and Time.

    "Sacred
We hail from the far-off East
    Driven by a mission sacred
    With compassion filling our breast
Most lives in this world are
    divine beings in the flesh
    But for earthly gain they
    harm themselves unknowingly
    Modern thought and ways
    are without any compass
    Behind atheism and evolution
    lurks an agenda hidden
Your true hope is to learn the Way
    and return to Heaven
    Heaven’s gates are now open
    but shan’t remain for long
What I convey is the truth
For the Creator calls upon me
to deliver lives back to Heaven

This is one of the eloquent ways of illustrating the meaning of the so called ‘ uncountable ‘ .
A set of numbers is uncountable if it is
‘ greater ‘ in cardinality than a posteriori indexing .
Countless ? No thing is more countless than that which is already count - less …
There is an imperative to understand the meaning behind this attempt at accessing geometry .
The classical theory of fourier series : the arbitrarily considered function over the reals ..
has a meaning , in intensive magnitude , in the wake of Cantor ‘ s mathematics
That is a creation . The creation of meaning is unmistakable , and could be seen as governing any sub - theme that one may find in the theory of fourier series …
Which is ripe with antinomies :
Specifying the pursuit of ‘ quantum ‘ mechanics is an artful restriction upon seeking within this space of thematic truth
    ( which includes D ‘ alembert lines , e . g . )
In what sense may the concept of ‘ uncountable ‘ be considered a fact ?
It is surely a tool , at least .
( ‘ continuity ‘ is not a concept that may be butchered in union with the theme of the ‘ uncountable ‘ )

Reductio ad absurdum, called proof by contradiction in mathematics - assume required proof opposite and show it leads to contradiction - , raises an issue over the recognition of both numbers and non-number infinity * in Heat Equation ** and infinite sum Fourier Series theories.
    * Even though infinity has an unrestricted connotation ^ , to resolve this Cantor declares it to be a transfinite number, consequentally of which there is an ordered collection after the first tfn omega, ω = {1, 2, 3, ...} , equal to the set of natural numbers, while also defining an ordinal number to be the order type of a well ordered set, like 0 := { } , 1 := {{ }} , ... , for ":=" assign, with a woset, ( X , ⊆ ) , for "⊆" improper subset, being a set, X, equipped with an order relation, ⊆ , that is reflexive x ⊆ x , antisymmetric x ⊆ y and y ⊆ x implies x = y , transitive x ⊆ z if x ⊆ y and y ⊆ z , comparable x ⊆ y or y ⊆ x , where any subset has a least element, although ∞ is still typically claimed to be a symbol.
    ** Any partially differentiable function at a point is continuous, meaning that for real numbers ^^ ε, δ and α , for all ε there is a δ, with | x - α |
