- Installed Magnaflow Hi Flow catalytic converters #59975. They are 200 cell cats, the stock cats are 600 cell. The new cats are designed for better exhaust flow less restrictive. Will be going back to have my x pipe repositioned
I'm glad to see she's still running
I've fallen in love with this car and this is coming from someone who has idolized Porsche and Chevy. My bank account is definitely gonna take hits if I ever come across one of these babies for sale.
Missed your videos, Welcome back
Some day I will get an exhaust system for my 2001 Xkr and it will be glorious. Congrats on the sound man.
Sounds Fantastic.
Beautiful color too.
Sounds insaneeeee
Aye wassup Scotty
dude it sounds good , just like mine . may be a little louder , mine has two hot dogs where you'r X-pipe is ,
and my X-pipe is right behind the trans.
i put the 59975 cats in a few years ago , and burnt up 2 sets in 18 months . then i emptied them and put a tube through them .
with 45* mini cats on the rear o2's works great loads more usable power . (nice car !! :-)
Awesome car
It sound So Intimidating I gotta get these on my str ASAP
Look up the race cats by Paramount Performance. They end up being about $600 cheaper for the set
@@codyc3066 How is that possible ? Paramount Performance is in the UK and Magna Flow is in California & available at any Auto Zone...... he said the cats cost him about $360....... as far as I know Paramount Performance is a reputable company - but I called them asking about headers for my 4.2 supercharged STR and they said they would look into it ....... never heard back from them ; I think I called twice....... aren't they supposed to be an exhaust specialist in the U.K. ?
Yeah bro I really did your car and your videos make more I have one too I learned a lot from you building your car do any lights come on with all the upgrades you did how many horsepower you got so far keep doing it bro. 😜
Looks better with out those black rims on 👍🏾
Finally you're back
Hey u should do the 1/4mile see what it runs it would make for a good video
This shit is clean AF
You got the Jag
Bruh I just copped a 2000 S-type 3.0 for 4500 with 78K on the dash.... Imma keep an eye on ya channel to see what I can do to it.... What you do to the radio?
Have you tuned it yet? It can use a tune for sure!
For sure man
Do u have stock exhaust other than your cats?
Resonator delete, x pipe, magnaflow mufflers
How's the drone on the freeway without the resonators. Can you keep it softer ?
No drone, i have my mufflers back on. Without them drone probably would be crazy loud
@@jagstrguy847 oh you did put mufflers back on. Just out of curiosity what made you do that
@@PhatkatCollections with the muffler delete couldnt really hear the supercharger whine an i missed it but im about to go back to being loud with flowmaster 10s
@@jagstrguy847 haha that's funny man. I just ordered adual in dual out flowmaster 10. I'll put it in place of the factory resonators . Thisnwill. Emiate the need for an x pipe too
In stock cat the first O2 sensor is at the top of it and the second in the middle. As I'm about to replace the stock cats with the ones you installed, I'd like to ask how you solved the problem with O2 sensors? Especially the second one? Did you weld it just behind the cat? Thx
Both sensors are welded 2 inches away from the cats
@@jagstrguy847 thx
Did you have to replace the o2 sensor also
No
I keep getting restricted performance on my 2007 STR. Scanned it and what came up was Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2. Would replacing the catalytic converter on bank 2 help solve the problem??? I would greatly appreciated your opinion my brother
Its possible, do your car still have stock CATS?
@@jagstrguy847 yes it does but i found a place where I can get and a direct fit converter
There’s a very high chance it have a vacuum leak.
@@user-nk8mp6hw1l where do you think the vac leak would be ?
Did you ever solve this issue ?
What's the updates
Do you till have your J R
Yeah I still have it
is this a reliable daily driver ?
Been my daily for 6 years now.
@@jagstrguy847 If its been your daily for 6 years so far than that says it all. Which will you pick for a daily the STR or the XJ super ?
Where did you get that intake for the supercharger?
Nvm. Just made it to the 11 minute mark lol. Do you know what model range rover? Or what year? I've got to get one for mine. That one looks sweet too!
06-09 RR sport
Do you still have the STR.??
Yeah I still have it. Just nothing to post
