For anybody that's maxed out the Core challenge meter but it wont complete: This seems to be something to do with the game not recognising bonus badges properly, like the +4 Bonus badges from the 'Welcome to the league'. I think this is only happening on tier 3 badges in categories with less than 15 ORIGINAL badge points. 15 being the amount of badge points you need to core something in tier 3 at bronze. If you had less than 15 but you've used those extra points to push you over the edge you'll probably experience this bug. Annoying af, hopefully they fix this soon!
Damn that's some good info. Pretty sure 15 was the lowest I had in finishing before I added one of the college badge points so hopefully I won't have to deal with it. Hopefully they patch it for people that do have issues though.
All Star difficulty is the sweet spot to core your offense badges. HoF difficulty is annoying AF but is the sweet spot for defensive badges imo. Good content as always btw
so you mean to say that playing in HOF difficulty speeds up the core badge challenge progress? I’m currently in Superstar difficulty and I have HOF Brick Wall equipped. I’m half-way from unlocking Gold tier core then way more for HoF core. I keep spamming screens just to progress and I think 50-60 activations of the badge will bump it a bit. Its a tough grind.
For posterizer I don't think you require contact dunks. I rarely get contact dunk animations but I do dunk "on" people all the time. It is really just in the vicinity of them and my posterizer lights up. It still did take a while though. And I am a 7 ft. center.

Also if you regular equip a badge that says the core challenge is complete it doesn’t count the progress on other badges. Happened to me because I was trying to get progress towards a badge I didn’t have enough attributes to unlock at the time.
Cored gold posterizer without a single meter dunk. I did the call for screen then run around thing but a little different. If you run wider and go for a baseline type dunk, posterizer will activate a lot of the time. Unless you smoked the defender and it was wide open. There’s some cheesy dunks you can buy in the dunk style creator to make it easier
I have the exact same problem bro because i can core my gold posterizer and then put on gold limitless takeoff but i can’t core my gold posterizer cuz of the bug 🤧
I do limitless on gold and posterizer on silver. I know a lot of people like slithery finisher but sometimes it gives you slow gather animations to the rim
I've also noticed if you core a badge and play online all your progress towards the next core level resets. I was maybe 1-2 mycareer games away from silver challenger and I cored it on bronze to play rec. after 1 game my silver progress reset all the way back down

I honestly will say you can core a higher grade badge with a lower grade on it just doesn’t move as fast but if you have the grade in front of it the ones behind it moves faster
Bro, I got poster riser on silver, and I’ve made zero progress for the core challenge. The badge don’t pop up for me, even when in game, it says “highlight play: Posterizer” But don’t get the badge pop up, so 0% has been made on coring. I don’t get it bruh….
Yo I got a dope play for 3s you should try out Laker since your a slasher that can play make. - overload one side and the slash play takes an iso on the open side. The hash sets a pin down as you drive baseline on the week side, the corner comes up off the pin down and you throw a long pass up top to him if he is open. Obvs take it if he is wide open, but … the dude who sets the pin down rolls to the basket and heads to the opposite corner, because you just slashed baseline, you set him a pick under the basket. You usually can catch 2 defenders under the basket and your teammate gets a free corner shot, which I prefer cause it’s so high percentage If you got the right guy shooting it. This play also has lots of variations, so you can run it pretty much everytime and just get a different look off of it.

I appreciate your videos but I wanted to comment that I’ve been able to get progress on core challenge for badges using a lower tier. For example: I only had glove on bronze but was still getting progress for silver and gold core challenge on glove (and to mention my steals was a 90, didn’t have enough to upgrade to 95 so wasn’t able to equip gold until I upgraded my steals). Same thing for pick dodger as I had it on silver and it was still upgrading my pick dodger gold core challenge progress. Needle threader was another badge I had on gold but still was getting progress for HoF core challenge. I took screenshots for proof.
What I meant to say is you won’t gain more progress past that point. Like your HOF points go up while even working toward bronze still, but if all you ever keep it at is bronze then it’ll never go anywhere So forth for Silver/Gold/HOF

I found if your trying to Core a badge and say u have the badge on silver but you don’t have it cored on Bronze yet but you have it on silver it’s harder to core then if you just left it on bronze while trying to Core it. If that makes sense lol!
im not certain on this but i believe when doing core badges, the more points you get for the category the more progress you get twords core badges. for example if you go into a game and spam qsf but get zero playmaking badges then go into a game trigger qsf the same amount of times but also get some playmaking badge progress the meter will go up
Maybe someone can answer this. I have corner specialist on hall of fame but only the bronze is eligible for core. With my hall of fame equipped is it leveling up or do I need to have silver equipped and then go to gold then hall of fame

U can't core posterizer unless u had the originally amount enough. Say u had 15 n u wanted silver you'd put 1 extra of ur 4 free badges those are all glitches n won't count no matter wut badge it is. Thts the bug

Nah poster easy to get. You don’t have to get actual contact dunks. Go for two hand safe dunks and if anyone is anywhere near you it counts as a poster
For posterizer there’s a really easy method on hall of fame. 1) Call for an iso 2)pass the ball to a ball handler 3) back door cut 4) Call for lob. I’ve played like 5-6 6 min quarter games and I’m already 75% through gold
@@xFlacoTheDon see I told you, you don’t know what you’re doing. Just call a pick with center and run to the side with the least defenders and dunk the ball. Do a hang dunk it gets the posterizer to pop up most of the time

Stand in front of a defender and do basic dribble moves to bait him into trying to steal might do it. Unpluckable was a drag so I switched over to clamp breaker. It seems to be moving better

For posterizer you actually don’t have to dunk on people just by people. I’ve never did a meter dunk and my badge is almost cored on gold

I cored handles for days on bronze and it reset my progress for silver, so also beware of that

When I go for anchor I leave the paint open and then swing in for a block and if they get the rebound it’s basically another free block
