don't know where they got the engines from but sound reminds me of Tank engines. Such a lot of interesting names too! The Western Advocate, Courier, Emperor, Ranger, Talisman, Trooper, Thunderer, Western Queen, and many more. looking at the Western Enterprise the colour Desert Sand is unusual for a train in those but after I think its good. I didn't think there was any footage of these beauties but here it is, Thank you so much for putting this footage out there

First generation diesels looked so much better before the yellow warning panels came along!
But track crews didn't hear diesels approaching from as away as steam and the yellow warning panel was put on for a purpose
