The people working for XG's company are insane. Every mv looks amazing, the dances are always amazing. They always bring something new to the table may it be the choreography, editing, looks, or camera angles. It's insane. The custom made grills are insane

Yeah the grills aren’t for me. It looks like they can’t speak with braces .. but it suits for the video and the wolves’ fangs, but Wow!! Difficult for women to speak! I love that, and very possible!!

The with blue hair is Hinata, my bias.
They are alien shape shifters that run as a wolf pack. Fangs are a running theme with them. Their fandom is Alphaz which also plays into it. They also take many forms, signifying the diversity in themselves and their music. They have said that sometimes the grills and other things they wear are uncomfortable but the power through.

This music video by XG is a statement to all their haters. And it is a statement about their true origin of love for music.
This is literally my first XG music video. And from all the back story from all of their interview videos in getting into the group. Rap was the only main theme of the interviews. Their singing is the secondary product of the group.
What a lot of people also missed. The actual 5 decades of homage they did for rap. The 5 different rap flows. The 4 different 3 soliloquies play on words. The Easter Egg phrases " Bow Down To The X" referencing both Ice Cube and DMX. The Tokyo Drift analogy had me thinking "Damnn they weren't even born then" 😂 But they know their history also in the rap world and car world.
This music video shows they have always been and will always be rap artist connoisseurs.
Another reactor, who it was his first time seeing XG ever, immediately picked up Cocona as being the "Grimy one in the group" just by her tone and flow. I don't even think it registered to him that she was shaving her hair on camera because he was engaged with the rap. According to CoCo's parents, she was waiting patiently for some time to shave her head and the opportunity came up when they filmed this drop. I agree that the visual production looks very raw, and they added CGI effects to add to it to give it some pop, but it definitely looks intentional. I really want to see the behind the scenes of this project because if the production of this is very similar to Grl Gvng, a lot of what looks like CGI might actually be practical cinematography.
"Woke Up" was the #1 trending "video" (music & general) Worldwide the first 3 days after it released. Its now the #3 "music video" trending worldwide on its 6th day (it was #1 for days). This is from the "official" tracking of music videos from Kworb which the standard that everyone uses. This has to be MV of the Year 100%. The track is an absolute banger its still going viral. XG the baddest flyest girl crew in the game today

American artist in modern era sadly doesn’t do choreography much anymore. In the past there was a lot but now the backup dancer does the dancing for western artist. To become a xg member or any of the kpop groups, dancing choreography is mandatory. Even if you sing well or rap well, if you cannot dance then you can never make it in. They take what western music is known for and black culture hiphop and incorporate choreography in all of their music. Its mandatory on the dance choreography for all of their industry

the way I interpret the music.
Simon on the first seconds of the Vid. the master mind Invading the tower (half head tower - maybe represents brainless/half minded people)
then together with Simon is our 7 alien boss queens entering the area. They take selfie also at the first seconds of the vid before the explosion on the last part.
Jurin - entering breaking the outside walls
Harvey - from the sky falling, breaking in to the rooftop
Chisa - as our mother driver.
Maya - teleporting in the judgement room, waiting for the captive mindless people
Cocona - beast in the cage waiting to be unleash
Hinata and Juria - morphing and spawning minions to clean the entire building.
the last part - "mission accomplished" they destroyed the building (meaning they captured us which I think is really happening because we're all hooked up with them)
