I feel like Mafia will release before GTA , it just makes sense because GTA is gonna bomb the gaming industry for a while…
That and take two owns both IPs so they’d be stupid to basically cannibalise their own sales by releasing two crime games with the same demographic during the same release window

@@Mellymel8732 WAAAY better. Was original and didn’t plagiarize and ruin a good story and turn it into into cringe and cliché mess. Had many more features such as robbing stores, buying clothes, bribing cops, gong to car wash, and many more. De has downgraded physics such as driving suspension and collisions, and destruction. Mafia de is called the “definitive edition” yet removes countless features from the original such as riding trains and trollies, a proper checkpoint system, actual levels that aren’t linear and can be completed in several ways, basic features such as dropping a weapon and countless more features. Mafia de fans are clueless and prefer their games to represent a movie as opposed to an actual video game.
Kingdom come 2, GTA6 and Mafia all in the same year is dream come true, all i need now is Ghost of Tsushima 2. Would make it my favourite year in gaming in a long time.

Easily my most anticipated game of 2025 besides GTA 6. I’m so happy to see it set in 1900s Sicily. As someone with a huge interest in the mafia and mafia history. It’s great to see this period of Italian Mafia history being covered in a game.
I am looking forward to this game, however I have several concerns for gameplay because of the time period and location. All of the things that people think of when it comes to mob like fast cars, machine guns, etc wont be a thing yet. I just worry that the gameplay will be too limited or even that it won’t feel like a mafia game.

Take-two would be stupid to release Mafia and GTA 6 around the same time. It wouldn’t be profitable for Mafia. With the announcement of showcasing more of Mafia in Dec the only logical idea would be to release it that summer (ik thats really pushing it) or to push the release date entirely for another year. Most GTA games have come out around Oct (all besides GTA 4 being released during the fall time) so I presume that’s when GTA 6 would come out and so that really leaves Mafia with a mid 2025 release or late 2026.
GTA 4 didn't come out in the Fall, it came out in the spring (April 2008). And my prediction for Mafia is a spring 2025 release, maybe summer 2025 at the latest. But definitely not late 2025 or 2026 because of GTA 6. And I say 2026 because GTA 6 might get delayed to 2026.
I kind of wish they would have just did a sequel

GTA is trash nowadays. Its nothing but a sharkcard-infested grindfest piece of garbage. Mafia is better
I hope Mafia is good but the one remake was atrocious
and the changes they did to it and the storyline, like they cut out half the content and just changed things for the sake of changing that the original did so much better
Nah, the remake for Mafia 1 was fantastic. It was 1000x better than the garbage sharkcard-infested grindfest GTA5.
This Mafia game wont have any machine guns! expect it to play like a red dead game since its set in the 1900s all the had where shotguns and pistols mainly form the Italian army but the main weapon they used was knifes for killings! maybe a more stealth kills in this game then past games. also there taking inspiration from the Godfather part 2 where part of the film takes place in the past.
And rifles, lots of them
My question is I wanna know what year this game takes place in and will there be cars like if it takes place in like 1930s or 1940s or possibly 1920s maybe i’m not sure when the first car was invented anyway
Cars where very rare in Italy only for the rich could afford them in those days. i expect it to be more Red Dead game then a GTA game to be honest. the car was invited in 1896 in Germany 1900 they would only be a few of them
Well in one of the preview image there was a car the headlights to be exact so we cant really tell wich car it is
