This is great!! My daughter is a fan of the cartoon Miraculous ladybug and this production is reminiscent of that show. I look forward to showing her episodes. She really likes the opening!

These innovative ideas have the potential to propel Ghana onto the global stage. As someone who has long been passionate about this topic, I chose to explore the reasons behind Ghanaians' underappreciation for animation as my final school project. Unfortunately, this lack of appreciation often means animations are overlooked in our local movies and advertisements. However, it's essential we recognize the significance of media technology in driving the success of nations like the US, UK, China, and Uganda. Through movies and animations, we can tell compelling stories that showcase our country's capabilities and creativity. It's time for us to take pride in our own products and harness the power of media technology to elevate Ghana's global presence
Very well said! It's one of the things I'm constantly reitterating and I pray it only gets better. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and watching this video 💛
Mills media well done oooo. ✊✊✊💃💃💃💃 I love how the flag colors were displayed. Please dont for get to be adding the black star oooooo its important to me paaaa. It makes me feel completely Ghanaian and a black queen 😃😃😃 I'm happy and impressed. So unfortunate im not around to watch. Please update us if there is anyplatform i can pay and watch. More ghanaian language for the kids and well done for touching on our history. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I'm so so happy. Well done team
Yes there's a black character to represent the black star, she is the last one on the slide, her name is Naa. I will let you know when the animation gets on the app, for now it's showing at the cinemas.
As a Nigerian, i love this for us as Africans. I'm not going to do the Ghanaian thing and claim Nigerians did it first.😂 The animation is not the best yet. But the only way from here is up!! 💪🏿💪🏿🙌🏿
I don't know if the cartoon is for kids buh that isnt even an excuse to overlook storyline over animation , if I was in charge of this project I would erase everything and start a whole new one. A storyline where in the old times setting a war occured between ga(have physical strong hand to hand combat) and ashantis( use a golden chain to give them super human abilities) and the ashantis had wealth which helped them to form ties with the ewe(basically magic). The aim of the ashanti is to enslave many tribes to grow their empire and with the help of the ewe it seems possible . But one time during a quest to enslave the ga, the chief leader with his wife was killed infront of his son(main character) he escapes by the chances as slim as a thread and swears to get revenge , unbeknownst him he was half ashanti coming from his mother . He goes on this journey of revenge and meets an ewe girl who finds him intriguing and joins him , they embark on the journey together to conquer the ashanti kingdom (I wish I wasnt 15yrs like maybe 20 then I could have done smth )
Maybe it's not such a good idea to share your story here. Just to let you know, I didn't read through the whole comment you wrote because I respect people's intellectual property. (You can edit out the story idea in the comment please 🙏🏾) I humbly suggest you register the idea and work towards developing it. One day at a time. All the very best! 🙏🏾
That's a great idea. There were some Kente patterns in their costumes though (the shoulder area) and the stones each have Adinkra symbols on them, so I guess that's a good start. You can find out more from my review here! Thanks for watching 💛 ruclips.net/video/wxPdfvGCdxI/видео.html
I know this is the first step to Ghana's own cartoon production but the animation of this cartoon is trash and weird and the reason being 3d , a 2d animated series would be better as an animator I know And I wish to help create that but I'm very young and Ghana has no place for animators
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It was actually a good watch at the premiere. There's a market here, believe me. It was one of the biggest premiere the cinema had seen in a while. Granted, we still have a long way to go, it's a very good beginning for us. It would be awesome to see your animation premiere in Ghana as well. Don't give up on Ghana 🇬🇭💛😊
It’s not trash; it looks really good. The only thing that seems to be the problem is that theirs mouth and their speech aren’t really in sync but really good animation. And if you have something to offer, why don’t you contact the team? Maybe they might have an offer for you.

I agree! And it paid off!!🔥🔥🔥
I will always love to be part of it all
Nice. Are you also an animator?

This animation looks and feels like the Mama K's Team 4 on Netflix. I see some inspiration from that series. This good for the industry.

@aj4short I'm good tnx for the sentiment tho buh I dont mind people using it my brain can create thousands of more stories 😁
They just need to use African costumes and use African titles
