Thanks for this unboxing XManny. Interesting point; Con Exclusives, pre-pandemic, where exactly that - exclusive. If a collector who didn't attend the Con, wanted the figure - it made for a chase scenario that was a part of the community. Nowadays, exclusives only refer to when the product was revealed. Interestingly makes one wonder if the "pre-order-online" has replaced the chase. Times, they are a-changin'.
Death’s Head’s 1st appearance was actually in a one page strip called High Noon Tex that ran across Marvel UK comics *just* before his appearance in Transformers. Literally just to cement him as a Marvel property and not Hasbro.
I think they did great with sdcc exclusives. They're just variants of already existing characters so some people can easily skip. As a Classified collector it was a easy skip for me on Once a Man Commander. Just wasn't one of my favorite designs when he was transforming. I will say he's sculpted nicely and the broken visor is a great accessory
Hasbro needs to make a proper v2-style Roadblock next to go with that Once A Man Cobra Commander, only then can GI Joe Classified collectors go properly Snakehouse with it.
Missed opportunity that they didn’t name them Violent Ken and Violet Chun-Li. (I know she’s more pink then violet but that doesn’t work with my dad joke)
Would like to see more jada reviews! Also the violent ken is the same buck as Ryu. The ripped clothes and everything else, except head and colors, it's the same.
Now that Jada has officially revealed the entire Street Fighter II roster I'm praying that they lean heavy into the Final Fight characters because they've never been done (besides Sodom). My Top Ten wants would have to be... 1. Cody - Street Fighter V [Final Fight Costume] 2. Poison - Street Fighter IV 3. Maki - Street Fighter Alpha 4. Rolento - Street Fighter Alpha 5. Rose - Street Fighter Alpha 6. Guy - Street Fighter IV 7. Lucia - Street Fight V [Nostalgia Costume] 8. Hugo - Street Fighter III 9. Abigail - Street Fighter V 10. Kolin - Street Fighter V (Either her Standard or Nostolgia Costumes) ...but honestly more than anything I'd love for Jada to make a brief pitstop in between Street Fighter games and give us a Final Fight three pack of Haggar, Jessica, and Belger. That boss battle is iconic and would make a great set, plus those three never showed up in Street Fighter except in backgrounds.

@@Xmanny87 I do think jumping all in on SF6 would be a mistake. While it's a great game, I personally feel it has some of the worst designs. As far as the characters go I have the least attachment to that batch of newcomers, and outside of maybe one or two looks, I can't say I'm that interested in the new wardrobes for the OG's either. That's why I'm really hoping that Juhn sticks to the mix of SF games he'd been talking about. There's a lot of iconic stuff across multiple SF games to ensure the line's longevity. I'm sure Capcom could vouch that their Nostalgia Skins sell more than anything else. Nostalgia is the reason for the lines success after all, so I'm personally hoping they only just dabble a little bit with 6, at least at first. As for Darkstalkers, I don't know how well they would fare outside of Morrigan, Felicia, and MAYBE Dimitri. While I'd be all in, I just don't know if there'd be the Mass Appeal after those three? Final Fight sold better and is my favorite video game, but I don't know if even that could support a full line?
I was considering buying the deaths head until I saw this video. Instead, I’m gonna buy both the Jada toys exclusives. Jada toys went above and beyond with their exclusives. Hasbro seems like they just focused on cutting corners instead. Their accessories are just all black plastic and no metallic paint. Meanwhile, Jada toys even painted their fucking barrel accessories. The barrels are painted better than deaths head itself. PLEASE start reviewing the Jada street fighter figures.
10:32 I don't think those are teeth. I believe that's just how his lips look, like how they turned white in the movie. Another reason is I see sculpted fangs. To me, it looks like a closed mouth with the fangs sticking out. But because they're left unpainted, he looks more like a killer croc than a killer cobra. I've also noticed on a lot of copies the paint is misaligned on the left side of the mouth.
