Haha, you activated my Google speakers when you said, “Hey Google.” For a moment, I thought the music was playing from your video. Great informative video!
Very useful video Bob and it seems stellantis are using a similar layout (obviously tailored) to different brands as the general functionality is very similar to my Peugeot 308! Compared to the chassis cabs of older conversions it’s great that they have more features and spec now and I must say the screen looks very clear all the best Daniel
I have one problem with this head unit. While running wireless Android Auto, if I press the mic button on the steering wheel to say call someone, the U Connect lady takes over the command. Now, she is a lovely sounding lady, but not always so helpful. Not as helpful as Android Auto. To get Android Auto to do my request, I have to reach over and touch the mic icon on the screen. Android Auto will do as I request (and give me a prompt that I can use the button on the steering wheel, which won't work as I said). Is there a way of disabling the lovely Uconnect lady? I don't want to have to be distracted by reaching the screen when a button is at my fingertips on the wheel. At times, it is both frustrating and hilarious that the Uconnect lady and Google maps are both guiding me along at the same time. 😮 Any suggestions?
Rather than pressing the button on the steering wheel to use uConnect, or pressing the android auto mic button, simply use google and Android Auto hands free to phone by saying "OK Google call...." uConnect uses the built in sat nav, whereas Android Auto uses Google Maps. Also if you press and hold the mic button, you will get Android Auto/Google.

Thank you for the only comment so far! 😁

This looks very similar to an MG that I test drove back last year
Probably the same operating system?
Thank you

@BobEarnshawMoHo Thank you, Bob. I'll try the long press. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺.
