During my 90-day hair growth journey, I practiced yoga and exercises, massaged my scalp with oil three times a week, shampooed once a week, and applied llitllextra Reactivate hair serum. The outcome, my hair growth increased without any hair fall.

The most effective step you can do for your hair is to apply cocoonion oil and shampoo and the reactivate serum. I've been sticking to this hair care routine for the past 25 days now, and my hair is getting denser day by day.

My own hair growth journey of success, I adhered to this daily regimen:
Take early morning sunshine daily for essential vitamin D. Consume vegetables of various colours. Applying paraben-free and fragrance free shampoo and gently massaging twice a week with hair oil from litttleextra's cooconion. Imp. to keep in mind that hair growth is influenced by general health as well as circulation and nutrition.

Before I had covid, my hair was extremely thick and full, to the point that my hair-stylist brother of nearly 11 years, claims I still have the thickest hair of anyone he has ever met.
About a month after recovery, I started losing LARGE clumps of hair... and now I’m starting to see through to my scalp. I’ve been crying a lot. I’ve stopped all heat on my hair, I went cold-Turkey with coloring my hair.... and I even avoid washing it at times because of the sheer amount of hair that falls out.
Since around Oct. 1- this has been my new normal. Brush and loosely braid my hair, cry, and hide my bald spots the best that I can.
I don’t have the money to go to the doctor, so thank you for making this video.
    Now- to watch it. 👀
Edit: I love how supportive this comment section is- we are going to get through this together 🥺
Second Edit: Y’all right when my hair fall started to lessen, I got Covid again. Take care of yourself and your families, everyone.

I also had SUPER thick hair, long and auburn before Covid-I had it in August. I started losing it about 2 weeks after I was sick. I had a scalp biopsy about 2 years ago that showed I had hormonal hair loss and started Rogaine. I went to my GP in October and he did blood work and I had an ANA, which is systemic inflammation, they suspect it is due to Covid. I am using the Rogaine still and got some apple cider vinegar shampoo and wash it 2x a week. Do not brush it until it is completely dry and hold it at the mid-section when you brush it. I also take a good hair, skin, and nail vitamin-maybe prenatal. A good friend of mine told me to rub castor oil on my scalp also. Use a wide tooth comb and not brushes...hang in there, it will stop and start to grow back. It is just hair and you survived.

This was my experience too - I have normally very thick hair but it started coming out in handfuls about a month after I recovered fully from Covid, which for me was almost exactly a year ago. I had nearly bald spots on the sides and back. My hair did start growing back about six months later, and my stylist says it feels really thick and full now (it's hard for me to judge!) Don't lose hope!

I suffered from the stress shed right before the pandemic and it did last for about 6 months. The best thing that helped after going to the dermatologist was taking 10,000 mg of biotin (nothing expensive). It did resolve after 6 months and I stopped styling it and just clipping it up or put it in bun while hiding my scalp as best as I could. You can’t really do anything about TE hair loss but simply not stress and let it ride out. My hair length grew during this time also. When your hair gets stringy at the ends from the hair loss, a blunt cut will help the fullness look while you ride it out. Best of luck to everyone with this and don’t stress. Stressing makes it worse. Just know that you will overcome this with time.

THANK YOU for this video. I LOVE YOU. I had Covid at the beginning of November/end of October, can't remember for sure. I just started losing my hair! I was in the shower last week and a chunk came out. I was just standing in the shower holding that clump of hair and said out loud, "Welp, that just happened." I went to my hair dresser today to cut off about 8-10". It is now up to my shoulders, and I actually am enjoying this length. She is the one who mentioned those who had Covid are experiencing the hair loss quite a lot, so I decided to do more research and came across your video first.
I do have baby hairs so IT DOES GROW BACK LADIES. How long I'll experience this hair loss is TBT. I'll update this comment once things settle and get back to normal.
I just wanted to say this to all the girls (and guys) who are having a time with this. My GOSH is it helping me to do a healthy lifestyle change. I'm starting to live with intent when it comes to my health. Stress and Anxiety are my middle name. I'm started to workout, eat better, and do my best to sleep better! Drink more water and less coffee (this almost makes me wanna cry more than losing my hair) HAHA. That's a joke...I know I'm not funny. It is wonderful to have a camaraderie with others when it comes to encountering this issue with our hair. It does grow back and your identity is not your hair. It's going to be an interesting time but I'm excited because good things will come out of this -even if at times losing the hair does make us emotional, it's cool to feel that way, but just don't STAY that way. We got this!
In closing, I just wanted to try and bring a little more positivity to this experience that we are all going through and end it with......this too shall pass and it WILL get better. :)

Yep! I had Covid last November. Four weeks of uncontrollable fever. Then in February my hip-length hair started falling out in handfuls. I lost probably 70% of my hair like you described. I had to cut it short like a pixie, and wear hats for months. My PCP diagnosed TE, and told me it would grow back in about six months. And it did start growing back in that amount of time. So sad about the hair loss, but so grateful that was the worst long-term effect I suffered. Thank you for addressing the emotional component. I felt like I lost a lot of my persona and identity when my hair fell out. And then I felt guilty about putting that much emphasis on my hair.

Very thick hair, much thinner now. Grateful for my life, will focus on my blessings, and in time it'll grow in fully. In the emantume, I can be supportive and sensitive to others by sharing my experience and bring comfort to others. When one lady's house burnt down, she said she had a better view of the sun. I had delta covid in November and starting the beginning of the year I had massive hair fall. That was distressing enough but my scalp is sometimes sore and my hair gets extra tangled when I wash it. I’ll be cutting my hair really short to reduce the psychological stress of seeing long clumps of hair everywhere I look and to also alleviate the tangling which has become stressful to deal with as well. I wish everyone here peace and blessings as your hair returns to its normal growth cycle.

Oh wow, the same with mine. When I use shampoo it feels super dry and gets tangled even though I brush before the shower to help with shedding. That's when the clumps come out the most is when I'm washing it. The texture feels gross, I have also noticed my scalp being really sore some days on one side of my head. My hair has thinned so much and at this rate I feel like I may go bald. I also had the antibodies like 4 days into covid, the week of Thanksgiving. High fever, hurt to even be awake but I was hurting so bad sleep was so hard to come by.I took alot of Ibuprofen and tylenol for the horrid headache I kept for the first few days! I'm Going to the dermatologist next week. I hope we all have success with our hair growing back. Prayers and love for all.

I was a divorced mom who raised 2 medically challenging kids. A number of times I've had to change doctors because they were either not listening or they blew off symptoms as being no big deal. They were all very good doctors from a clinical perspective, just not right for us. In one case, 3 years were lost in getting to the underlying problem unnecessarily. We eventually got to PCPs and specialists who worked with us, even engaging the kids in their own treatment. As a result my children are now healthy and happy adults. Not every doctor is right for every patient. Thank you for the reminder to look elsewhere if you aren't being heard. Partnering with your physician is so important in treatment, especially in these times. ♥️

One good thing came of it, I had been coloring my hair and was getting really tired of it (I am 73 years old) and now I have my hair gray and I am also buying some fun wigs! I had covid when I gave birth, so I had a double whammy of post-partum hair loss and covid related hair loss. It's now been just over a year since my hair first started falling out. It's still thin, especially around the hairline. It snaps easily and brushing can feel a bit painful. My hair does look better, but I think considering how much I lost, it's going to be a few years before I can say it's back to where it was before pregnancy/covid (hopefully!). All I can say is, be gentle with your hair! No unnecessary brushing, pulling, washing... just let it be when you can. This has probably helped me the most.

Went through this as well & hair is back to normal. I got COVID February 2020 and was seriously ill for 4 months. Part of my recovery was mass shedding for 9 months. Prior to the loss I had wavy hair & every stylist would comment I had “a ton of hair”. After the mass shedding started I couldn’t even make a ponytail. Noticeably thin hair for 9 months. Then it started to grow back starting early 2021, but much curlier (love my new spiral curls). I had my first post COVID haircut in June 2021 & told her to cut all the yuck off. Ended up with a cut just above my shoulders with the new curls. Love to all experiencing this horrible side effect. Sharing my story to give details and hope from someone who made it through. Thank you Dr. Dray for this informative video. I had Covid in May 2020 and was hospitalized for 2 weeks with Covid pneumonia. I was unable to get vaccinated afterwards because I had chronic bronchitis for the next 13 months then got the Delta Variant and was hospitalized for almost a month last July-August. After finally coming home, 3 days later, I was rushed back to the hospital when my oxygen level dipped to 59% . I was admitted again with another case of pneumonia---bacterial this time. Eventually I was released to go home with a pic line and my husband was trained to administer my very strong IV antibiotics. I've been basically in self imposed quarantine ever since. Today is my 2 week post 2nd vaccine day!!! Finally But I've already had bronchitis 3 times since I came home late August. Sigh!!! My hair started coming out after my first Covid pneumonia experience and had finally stopped shedding so excessively when I got Covid #2. Now, my hair is so thin you can see my scalp especially around my face and crown. I have collected 2 sandwich size ziplock bags PACKED with hair that came out from normal brushing just over the last few weeks. I did not know sleep deprivation can also increase my shedding. I rarely get to sleep before 4 to 5 am. I just cannot turn off my brain. I have flashbacks of my time in ICU and the machines etc. The high flow oxygen machine I was on for 2 weeks ruined my teeth as well. Ten of my upper teeth are loose and I had to have a bone graft surgery a month ago and now one side of my teeth has shifted so much I cannot get my teeth together on that side which means I'm loosing weight because eating is so difficult and painful. It has affected my emotional and mental health as much as physical. It helped me tremendously just having you AFFIRM the struggle me and thousands of others are going through post Covid. THANK YOU.

Can’t thank you enough for addressing this issue. My hair has been my jewel crown all my life. Curly, lots of it, super silky and bouncy when round brushed. Then I lost my dad to colon cancer in 2018 and I was devastated. A few months later my hair loss stated. Then Covid hit in 2020. In 2021, we sold our home of over 20 years to move out of state. I immediately regretted it. So, after much stress and anguish and with the help of a therapist, (first time ever!), we moved back and had to buy again. Then I got Covid twice. Now my hair is half the density, doesn’t curl anything like before and so dry and brittle. I just want my pre-2018 hair back! 😔

God bless you for posting this video! I had a severe case of covid from mid September through mid-october and started losing my hair after Thanksgiving. It started when I shampooed and large handfuls were coming out! Yes it was very disheartening and depressing but after watching your informative video I feel my spirits have been lifted and My Hope restored that this too shall pass. I have shared this with another friend who recently contracted covid (even after being vaccinated). I look forward to watching your other videos regarding hair regrowth. Trichotilamania is something I’ve been dealing with since I was 15. Healing from divorce helped. Dating middle age was stressful so overall hair loss happened and “picking” or rooting around caused my hair to break off in small patches. I know it’s all psychological for me. I had a nightmare last night that large patches fell out. Horrible. 😲 So much has happened since 2020… lost so much and couldn’t get medical insurance (long story), a horse crushed my foot, been on crutches for over a year, and much more. I had everything going for me and 2020 was gonna be my year of success. It’s all good tho. I’ve got a wonderful man in my life (5 years now), my daughter helps me run our business, do my laundry and grocery shopping, etc. and she started her own business as well. I’m starting (self) physical therapy & plan on walking on TWO feet this year!

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your discussing this! I have been losing hair like crazy for at least 9 months. My general physician said it was a male pattern baldness and I could try Rogaine. I have always had fine, thick, curly hair and this was such a shock to me. I felt dismissed. So I have an appt. With a dermatologist in two days - I’ve already done the bloodwork so we’ll see. As a back story - I was BORN anxious. I’m 77 and have taken Valium/Xanax since I was 26. When the pandemic struck, not only have I had genital herpes for 40 years, I also got Epstein Barr Syndrome. I couldn’t do anything without breaking out in red rashes and spots and sweat terribly and not be able to sleep. I hadn’t driven a car for a year. Wearing masks all the time is just horrible and stresses me out even more! I did NOT have Covid - I’ve had all the Pfizer vaccines plus the booster and a flu shot, but the stress has been unbearable, and the hair loss has been so stressful on top of all THIS. . . Well, you get the picture. You have given me so much information to discuss with the dermatologist, I simply cannot thank you enough. I’ll report back!

Listen up! I have lost like half of my hair 3 times in my life due to getting a high fever during an illness and not eating right while it was happening. Each time went to a different Derm and got same answer. Your body stopped allocating resources to growing your hair in order to fight the fever so about a month later it starts falling out and falls out for a month. And eventually it grew back. I suspect all the people who lost hair have this same issue I have with fevers.

Thank you Dr Dray for doing this video. I am in the UK and finding it really hard even to get my GP (doctor) to believe my hair is falling out as much as i am saying. I had covid, along with my husband and 2 teenagers, in October 2021. I suffered worse than them, had severe fever for 2 weeks and each night the sweats were horrendous. Between us, we were changing sheets each day as they were soaked. 3 months on and 2 weeks ago, i noticed my hair was coming out alot more than normal. I have fine frizzy hair which is almost down to my waist. I spoke to my GP and she said basically it was the stress my body was under when I had covid. At the time, i didn't have any scalp pain but now i do. My scalp feels like a burning and tends to go when i put my head under the shower. This week alone I have filled a small plastic bag (in the UK we call them sandwich bags) with my hair. The hairloss is being noticed all the time. I have cried, i feel angry. Should I be minimising my washing my brushing?

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this with us!
I’m 47 with naturally thick silver white hair.
I have experienced 3 major hair shedding events in my life and it’s really scary. It would come out in clumps when I washed it or brushed it.
The first time was after I had my son ~ which was normal and expected so I didn’t worry.
The second time was when my ex husband and I were getting divorced. I didn’t realize that stress affected hair loss that much. I just thought it was because of all of the weight I lost so quickly. Then I stopped using the WEN shampoo and later found out that people were suing because of hair loss. I just thought it was that.
Last summer (2020) I had a surgery that went very wrong and I wound up in a coma for a week and in the hospital for 5 weeks. My pain doctor put me on Lyrica and by October I had horrible acne and major hair loss. I had a long Bob haircut and what fell out at that length was bigger than a golf ball ~ and that’s just what I saved from brushing and washing my hair ~ not what just fell out on it’s own.
Now it all makes perfect sense!
I shared it with my sister who is under a lot of stress right now and losing her hair.
Thank You Thank You Thank You
My hair has all grown back but since I chopped it all off last year, it’s still a pixie cut because it’s so easy!!! 😜🤣
