VW California - Family Weekend in the Alps - Macugnaga 2019 #vanlife
Summer 2019, and the temperatures in Northern Italy were reaching 38 degrees so we decided to venture into the Mountains for cooler air and some freezing mountain streams and waterfalls to play in!

This time we decided to go to Macugnaga, a lovely small town right at the end of a long valley, under Monte Rosa. We camped with our friends in their Classic VW Camper, right next to a mountain river. The air was fresh and cooler, with a natural spring right next to our van, we were able to cool off and have a great time! Jordan got to try out his new Mountain E-bike properly and we all had a 'jacuzzi' in a huge waterfall!​
