- A Guide on where to get the Level 3 Pack-a-Punch Crystal Schematic and the Legendary Aether Tool Schematic in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. Thisis done via the Red Worm Easter egg which I show you exactly how to complete it. I show you the exact Easter Egg you need to do in order to be guaranteed 1 of the new schematics that will allow you to craft the Flawless Aetherium Crystal which gives you an instant Level 3 Pack A Punched Weapon. Plus the Legendary Aether Tool Plans which mean you can craft the legendry tool to upgrade any weapons rarity to Legendary. The 3rd schematic you can get form this easter egg in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is the Scorcher wonder weapon schematic.

Good to know this is the way to get the scorcher schematic. I’ve been doing contracts in zone 3 to get it, guess now I know why I haven’t been getting it. You have to fight the red worm to get it. Thanks for the 4 1 1.

You can get the scorcher schematic from the fortress boss I did that my first time an got it from there I even found one in an aether luggage container it’s just basically based off luck but I’ve found better stuff in tier 2 then tier 3

Happy to help, you can get the case by doing the contracts but you can't get the schematic. Red Worm is the only way for the schematic itself.

Don't forget to check the ground around the reward rift. Many people drop their schematics if they already unlocked their items.

I exfil with pap 3 schematic and for some reason it doesn’t unlock a guy just dropped the schematic for it and it’s not unlocked
Do you have to had done the sigil and sigil dark aether missions to be able to get the dog bone, shield, and aether blade schematics?
Technically no, if you turned up at the dark eather rift and joined a squad (or you’re in a squad whereby another player already has an elder sigil) you can just go into the dark eather with them and get the schematics

I keep losing items in my backpack when I exfil. So frustrating
typically does that if you have too many items in stash (IE: 11+)
I found a pap 3 crystal in a tier 2 contract and exfiled but dint unlock it .. not sure if it was a bug or what 😢
The crystal and the diagram is different. To craft it, you have to find the diagram not just the crystal. The crystal is just to pap tier 3.
I've extracted it several times over the last few weeks and it only unlocked yesterday!. Game is good but bugged to fuck
So after defeating the worm does the exfil pop up or do you still have to run to an exfil location?
The exfil appears there for you, so you don’t need to worry about heading to a pre-existing exfil location

I have done the red worm like 6 times or 7 or 10 idk how much I have done it but it’s not giving me the legendary aether tool I think it gave it one and my game glitched and I had it in my bag and when I went to stash it and it’s gone it didn’t put it in so now I keep on doing it won’t give it to me
Yeah sounds like it’s weirdly glitched - hopefully you can get it eventually but I’d say of the 3 schematics there it’s the least valuable. Especially now with the exfil bonuses and being able to load on with essence. Can just buy a legendary weapon from wall buy in t3. Still super annoying if glitched though

No. You can jump straight to act 4

I got every schematic but I’m just missing tier 1 and tier 2 schematics
Yeah they’re the worst because the tier 1 contracts are sooo boring
Problem we have and clearly by this vid you don't have this problem is we get t3 zombies spawn in and they spawn tons in this vid i saw 1 mangler thats it the last time i tried it there was only 8 min left before the worm turned up and i got diwned 3 times and used all plates before the worn even turned up
I think we just got lucky because multiple other squads joined the fight so they took down a lot of the zombies/took the hits from the worm boss

You found the crystal and not the schematic then. Either that or your game is bugged
what is gold armour
Gold armour is an item that automatically replenishes your armour with one plate every four seconds. So even if you don’t have any armour in your inventory, it will replenish it.
You can get the schematic and a single recipe for it in the harder version of the dark aether by completing contracts there and extracting with it

So to get the legendary and pack a punch 3 gear, you have to beat a boss with a pack a punch 3 and legendary gun. 🙄
Well you’re getting the schematic, which means you can craft it over and over (with a cooldown). Which is the big time saver, plus will let you get a custom weapon to legendary. Before that to get a legendary to use against the worm, just wall buy from tier 3 and use the pack a punch machine.

It's easy if you have the right weapons or you manage to get the whole lobby to join you. Or if you set up like 20 sentry guns 😂

Best thing to do is comms with your lobby, we had times where 10-15 people were all there fighting the boss at the end

Did it with half the lobby and I shit you not it was a "warzone" out there, no pun intended. Definitely easier solo or just one group of 3-6 players

All of this can be done solo as well. Grind the cargo delivery contracts to earn money to wall buy a legendary from t3, plus l3 pack and all perks. loot boxes to stack up self revives and you'll be good to go.

For this EAster Egg you still get the reward, even if they don't join your squad. You just need to be there and be involved in shooting the worm and you'll get the reward. I tested it and I still got the reward.
