I finally decided on the perfect tree to plant in my garden. The Natchez White Crepe Myrtle! Although it wasn't easy, I am so happy I planting this tree and cant wait to see it bloom in Sunner!
I love your spirit of including the Lord in prayer while gardening. I do all the time AND did you say you were 60 years young? Wow, you are a beacon of fitness, light, energy and youth with your vitality and sweet spirit across the waves. Happy gardening. Great choice of tree, btw! Love your garden.❤ (All things through Christ who strengthens me)
Wow Kimmi thank you so much for this beautiful comment! I appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos and offer your support and encouragement. I am deeply flattered! 👍❤️🥰 Liz
Thank you so much Antonianovo6416 I appreciate your encouragement! Yes I agree I am excited to see it grow and bloom. Thanks for stopping by! xoxox Liz
Awww Thank you so much TheSummerLand6165… Abby really is the best!!! It’s so funny. I don’t realize she follows me around so much until I’m editing the video and looking at the footage. You are so right, and it’s so cute. Appreciate you taking the time to watch my video.❤️👍🥰Liz
😂 if I was there I would have helped you but even though your on RUclips I was there in spirit helping pushing that tree in that hole with you and lifting it up I was right there every moment every second while you were working on that tree I was still there and praying also ❤❤❤ great job 🙏
Awwww you are so incredibly sweet Lynda! Thank you for your encouragement!!! I appreciate you taking the time to share that lovely comment. I hope you have a blessed weekend my sweet friend. 😇❤️👍🙏Liz
Thank you so much Panagiotaskoylida! I am looking forward to some beautiful blooms in the spring however, I am still enjoying the beauty of this rain. All the seasons are wonderful aren’t they? Appreciate you taking the time to comment. Have a beautiful weekend my friend.😇🙏👍❤️Liz
I totally understand you and your thrive to want to get things done, projects completed. I myself is a taurus and we like to do things ourselves. Glad you didn't hurt yourself.
Well hello there a good morning Octavia! I appreciate you taking the time to comment and making me smile today. I suppose you are right as Tauruses are so stubborn sometimes we do have to be careful not to get hurt. Hahaha hope you have an amazing day and thank you for stopping by.🥰❤️👍Liz
Amen sister! I felt that prayer…every word. 😂 When your tree toppled over and your camera went flying, I said to myself…this is me 100 percent!!! Sometimes I use colorful garden language such as “oh sugar snap peas”! 😂 I’m an Aries and I’m stubborn as an ox! I recently added brick paneling to my garden shed and was struggling. I refused to call hubby for help. After many minutes of wrestling that paneling, I did it! We feel so accomplished when we get tasks done and do it ourselves. Best feeling EVER! Loved the video and that tree is going to be lovely in it’s new home.
Well hello there my pretty friend/sister in Christ! I appreciate your support and encouragement! hahahaha Love how you got that brick paneling done yourself. You GO GIRL! xoxox Liz
I was planning on buying a Chinese pistache but now I definitely want to get the Natchez white Crepe Myrtle Tree it looks beautiful and I like how fast it grows! Great job Liz you did it!!! Praise God! Have a heavenly day!
Thank you so much for your encouraging comment. I will admit the Chinese pistache is a gorgeous tree. But it does grow slow, doesnt have flowers and that is why I did not plant that one. Crêpe myrtle trees bloom in the summer time and then have beautiful fall leaves. Also if you’re looking for a tree that grows extremely fast, consider the Muskogee crape myrtle. That variety grows just as fast but it has gorgeous lavender flowers. Thanks for stopping by! ❤️👍🥰Liz
I was as concerned as the little doggy there at one point...lol. Awesome job! I love crepe myrtles, I can't wait to see updates on your crepe myrtles for the coming growing season. I have a few Muskogee crepe myrtles planted on my property.
Oh my goodness Lucy, those Muskogee crape myrtles are absolutely gorgeous. I was going to plant the Muskogee but I thought the lavender color would clash with my red rocket. That’s so funny you mention Abby. I did not even see her in the video. I need to go back and watch it. Hahaha have a great weekend and thank you for your nice comment.👍🥰❤️Liz
Hi impatient... We are so the same i get determined and stubborn to get things done and that strengthens me to succeed ( a lttle bit of prayer always helps too ) Glad you survived the tree planting🎉🌳see you next time! 👍👏😊
That’s so funny that you are the same, I just didn’t want to wait for anyone to come home. Us women when we get something in our minds There’s no changing it right? Hahaha Have a great week and Andrea. ❤️👍🥰Liz
Thank you Paula. Yes I am very happy. I got it in the ground. It has been raining here in California so I was very blessed with this whole week of natural rain and fertilizer for my new tree. Thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate the comment.❤️👍🥰Liz
Crepe Myrtles are great small trees. Just to do not butcher them by cutting back all the limbs like some people mistakenly do. I am sure you will check out the correct way to prune them.
Oh my goodness I get so mad when I see people butcher their Crepe Myrtle Trees! We call that Crepe MURDER!! Hahaha thank you for taking the time to stop by appreciate the comment.❤️🥰👍Liz
Actually, you have your figures incorrect for those crape myrtles. You are talking about maintenance heights that people keep those trees at. Dynamite can become a 25ft tree. The trees you mentioned can be well over 20ft tall.
Thank you so much for letting me know about my incorrect figures. I’m always learning something new every day that’s for sure. However the Zuni crêpe myrtle I have had for seven years now and it still has not reached over 9 feet tall. As far as the dynamite tree goes, I would be very pleased to know that it can grow taller than 12 feet, so I appreciate you taking the time to let me know all this. Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by. 👍🥰❤️Liz
Good morning deserthorses I remember you telling me that in another comment, which is why I stayed away from that tree. I appreciate your honest opinion. It always helps to get advice from viewers. Thanks again for stopping by.🥰👍❤️Liz
Thank you for taking the time to comment. The trunk of the tree is about 3 feet away from the wall plenty of room to expand. Also, the branches will be way above and actually clear the wall as well. I am hoping and counting on this tree to get 30 feet tall and wide which is why I picked this tree. Even when the tree gets 30 feet wide, it will not come anywhere near a neighbor. There’s nothing behind my house. I suppose if you were in my backyard, you would see what I am talking about. But I appreciate your comment and taking the time to visit me. ❤️❤️🥰Liz
