This really looks like a way to see if people still like lego pirates, like Barracuda Bay, but aimed at more casual customers. If this sells well I believe a pirate comeback will happen.
I recently got this set to use in a video. Wasn't planning to get it otherwise, but so glad I did. Absolutely love the pirate ship. Haven't even bothered with the other 2 builds, just cause I'm so happy with the main build.
I bought this one because it was 130$ on Amazon. Compared to barracuda which was upwards of 350$ lol. It is definitely a nicer set but not worth that much of a price hike

I like the overall look of it but I'm not a fan of the brick built sails, the crude looking mermaid figurehead and the open middle section which really needs one of those big square grill pieces to cover it. I like it but not enough to spend $100 on it. Also, the alternate builds are so good, they should have made them sets on their own.
Wow, this set is awesome. As someone who’s favorite set is the Ninjago movie’s destiny’s bounty, I really like this! This might honestly be better than the bounty.... (not on the mini fig side though)

The Creator sets and Classic sets are really the only worthy two series of LEGO nowadays (OK, maybe the Minecraft series is too), that allows to build different things because of the more standard pieces and also captures the imagination of people. The other themes have very specific bricks and forms and you cannot really do many things with them.
I just want a Flying Dutchman. This set is amazing tho. Also, the Skull Island gave me Mega Bloks Pyrates nostalgia. I know not everyone is a fan of Mega but those were also really cool.
I'm 33 and have not put together Lego sets in over 20 years. My wife got me this set for Christmas. I must say I might spend a lot of money now...... :)
It's a rabbit hole man. I bought a couple 20$ sets and some minifig packs from Walmart last month. Now I just shelled out 300$ on some lego sets online 😂 luckily I had a bunch of spare Amazon gift cards laying around from a few birthdays that I forgot about lol
When I get this I’ll most likely modify it to make it look longer and more like the classic pirate sets. I’ll definitely substitute the brick sails for the classic striped sails. But apart from that I look forward to getting my hands on it. Great Video :O)

I like the main build but I wish it got a piece to cover the bottom level. It looks kinda wrong without one. Definitely gonna modify when I get it. But man $100 for 3 figs which got older prints is kinda weak would’ve liked to see atleast 5.
This is one creator set that it’s actually worth buying 3 copies to build all 3 builds. Majority of the pieces are actually useful for custom rebuilds because of all the plain bricks in this set
You forgot to show/build the flag on the bag of the ship. Making a symbolic skull out of two bricks is just genius. Das That is the set that started my recent l interest in lego. I rebuilded the ship twice and the tavern three times (My niece just loves it) I love 3in1 because it is far more likely that I build them more often and rebuild them. And it teaches how you can use pieces differently.
Personally I love all of the similarities with set 6192 from them both having a shark, chest and ship with the Captain of both ships having blue jackets.
You forgot: the flag at the back of the ship, the feather on the captain's hat (on the ship build), some pieces on the hull, the plank and the red bandana crewmate's alternate face.
One of the best creator sets in a while.

You can use the rest of the gold pieces to add more teeth to the skull, cover up the jumper plates, and add more treasure inside the skull.
This looks like a poor man's Barracuda Bay, which is a good thing, like if you can't afford or don't want to buy that set this is still a good ship.

I upgraded my copy to have a back cannon at the upper back and lower the front mast to make it look like that one LEGO pirate ship set from 1993.
The pirate captains face is the same one they use in the ninjago skybound sets
