I like that body style, when I was a kid in H.S. a guy around the corner from had 2 in his driveway as long as could remember, a coupe and fastback, always working on them. That's the color I'd want, I remember a commercial years back, it featured a gold car just like that pulling up to a curb of a house, and all it had was nice tires with Cragar rims on it, jacked up a little and it looked really cool.
@@VoloMuseumAutoSales no, I think I saw one on the road once, He was older, seemed he just always worked on "hot rodding" one. My favorites as far as riding in them was my brothers had a 55 & 57 Chevy "hot rods" in 60s, 1970 my 1 bro bought a Mach 1 351 Cleveland 4 sp new Stang. My friends older bro had a 69 super bee 383, my fav all time for rides was his 70' SS 396 Chevelle he came home with from Air Force after his Bee.

When I was in high school, my dad bought the first year of 65 barracuda 273 V8 and he traded it for a 68 formula S with the 340 voter which the debate rages on whether it was Actually the better stronger motor, I know it would wrap the speedometer pass 120 to the point where it looks like it was possibly going at least 135 very impressive car flashy his had the hubcaps with the lug nuts that came through them I’m sure that was to give the impression of having wheels from the factory date nights were handy with the folding down rear seat and the pass end of the trunk. I had taken it down south to West Virginia and camped out in it with a friend, but back in those days, my dad would get a new car about every three years so he traded it off but it was quite a car. I loved it.❤ I could say one thing for certain a big block Chevelle would beat it but in all fairness, it was a 375 horse
THIS ONE BECAUSE ITS A FORMULA S HAS THE 340 STANDARD , OPTIONAL 383 , 727 TORQUEFLITE OR A-833 4 - SPEED COMMANDO , BUILT TO RUN WITH THE CAMARO , FIREBIRD , MUSTANG , AMC REBEL , AMX , PONY CARS OF THE TIME !!!

Very rare Mopar great color nice choice on tires and wheels, glad they chose to keep it stock good sounding exhaust.
Nice Cuda Jay! Even down to the dog dishes & redlines!
Not just a '68 Cuda, this is a 'Formula S' Car. A little extra umph to it. Very nice.

Beautiful old skool Barracuda Formula S! You don't see these every day. On recently sold at Mecum Harrisburg for 55k. My guesstimate, 66k

Not quite finished. Faded carpet in cargo area, missing pedal dress up on the brake.
White walls would look better than the redlines, but other than that it is an awesome restoration.
In Mexico it is known as barracuda
isnt that a 66/67?
It is 1968
For that kind of money I would buy a GTO
I never understood why these performance engines were painted that color.
