I'm sending this to every person I know who plays finals, other channels might provide tips but no one could explain the possible shortcomings and the ways to overcome them like you do, so hats off to you 🤠
Currently one of the only diamond in TA. I use medium shotgun solely. If there are any tips that I can give: - Play low ground. - calm and collected, flash flicks are never more effective than someone that has a smooth aim. - Never stand out in the open or in large corridors. The shotgun excels when played with cover - Trigger discipline. Whats worse? Panicking and Missing your shot and dying, or taking a few hits but making sure your shot hits.
1.For console players, my advice would be to use the gun. And keep using the gun. You might frag out with other contestants and loadouts, but you have to stick with it. Getting more and more used to aiming from target to target without aiming down sights(the sensitivity is different). 2. You have to get used to the mechanics of the weapon. The reload, the timing of the firing. 3. You have to go against different contestants and their different loadouts to get a sense of each type of engagement. 4. Your first shot has to be a good one. With ARs, your first click doesn’t have to be as precise because you can drag and sweep your cursor to the target while holding the trigger. That’s why I said in step 1 to keep playing the model to break those poor habits. If you miss your first shot, it begins a domino of bad shots and you’re playing catch up. 5. Patience. It’s better to hit a shot that takes a while to line u and take damage, then rush and miss a shot and still take damage. 6. As a console players, we get too reliant on right stick movement. If you hone in on your first shot accuracy, meaning your crosshair placement is good, you just need minor adjustments and that can be done with your left stick. Sometimes a strafe. Maybe moving backwards or forwards can give you just enough movement to line up the shot. Maybe even a crouch or a hop. 7. Anticipation. You start to anticipate movements after a while. You can lead your shots with gross right stick movement to lead your cursor to where you KNOW they’re going. If you overshoot the placement, counter that right stick movement with a minor left stick movement in the opposite direction. 8. Confidence. The more and more you get better, those lights that want all the smoke with you at the beginning of the fight, will turn on their cloaks, try to dash or grapple out of there. And that’s when the hunt begins.jump pads, zips, demat will help you hunt them down and finish your meal.
You have got to have the best production quality of any The Finals youtuber I have ever seen. Love your content as always and thanks for the tips! 1887 is one of my favorite weapons and I'm really happy seeing people show it the love it deserves.
Thanks you and yea this weapon slowly became my favorite the more I started using it. Oh yea! Almost forgot the moment I popped 3 enemies back to back I was hooked, no weapon I’ve played with so far has given me that level of satisfaction!
Got Diamond 1 last season and I will say goo grenades is one of the most slept on gadgets in the entire game. The amount of outplay potential it can give is crazy, and forces nearly every fight to be close range even in open spaces. Defending a cashout becomes really powerful with goo nades because you can close off windows and other entrances and only force fights from entrances they create that are close range 99% of the time. When you are being chased you can outplay by blocking behind you and breaking your opponents ankles to the point you are at back to full hp, reload, and time to revive a teammate
Okay i just watched this video, did about 3 minutes of practice range, then went and played. Got 13 eliminations in quick cash, 6 were in the very first life. and even got a solo team wipe with 7 total shells. Crazy how much this helped. Just focusing on aiming smooth and only hip firing does wonders.
For someone who is like the biggest fan for the Model 1887, the hipfire tip was the most shocking, literally the first time I heard anyone mention that
For sure! When I started shooting that way it was a little off putting, but as soon as I got use to it. My gameplay with the gun got so fluid, the difference was night and day!
Two more tips I'd like to give: Don't just use the zip line to get around, use it as an offensive tool. I like to string it across the objective I'm defending from one corner to a main entryway, making it as long as I can. If they start to attack you can start zip lining and then jump off to launch yourself across the room and catch them off guard Another thing that will also help you in one tap games like Valorant or CS:GO, don't focus on getting your next shot out as soon as you're able to. If it takes you a few extra frames to line up your shot and become confident that it will land, do that instead. You would be surprised on how many more kills you can get by shooting LESS often but being MORE confident in the shot, especially considering how low your mag size is and how long your reload is. Every bullet is crucial
Solid tips! Your absolutely right taking your time is huge, even in the most hectic situations players always have a small window to micro adjust and hit their mark. Thank you for sharing and for watching!
As a model main, there are multiple points within the reload animation that you can SHOOT TO CANCEL. A good way to keep track of it is to be aware of when the bullet goes into the gun during the reload animation, you can shoot at almost the same speed as if you had bullets in the clip
Bro the editing is so good, especially at 1:23 Idk how you’re a small channel because this content is really high quality, you definitely have my subscribe 🔥
I'm out right now on an errand and forgot my headphones so I can't really hear but this is the cleanest looking edit I have ever seen. I can't wait to watch this when I get home and can actually hear what he's saying.
4:09 I’ve been playing alot of revolver aggressively but I feel like it just doesn’t preform how I want it to at range so I might as well swap to the 1887 since I’ll be playing similarly and I’ll get a boost in consistency and won’t have to ads as often up close. Thanks for all the tips!
I do agree revolver is currently one of the hardest weapons to master. It has slightly more range than the 1887, but is not as lenient and demands pin point accuracy to be effective in the meta. At this time 1887 is the better choice in most scenarios, however I suspect there will be a buff soon being that this weapon has not been touched since the first season. (Hopefully)
A video for the Light’s sawed-off shotgun would be great as it has a much higher risk and higher reward as you can one tap Lights and two tap Medium and Heavy
Already on and is coming very soon, just going to wait till after this next patch to make there are no intentions to nerf or change the weapon mechanics. This is so that my videos have some sort of longevity. Rest assure though it is coming!
Bro, your videos are wild! Everything from the amazing editing to spitting straight facts! 100% starting out slow and smooth will eventually make you fast! Very well thought out and useful exercises. S tier content like always.
Another tip that wasn’t mentioned that I just figured out in the practice range trying what u said: u can melee right after a shot with no downside. The animation of the shell popping out cancels your melee animation so u can shoot again at max fire rate but still get the melee damage
I gotta say it, you dont see this kind of production and editing in your general Finals video (except the trailers lol), its very enjoyable to watch, and extremely well done. Something that i would've added is that against lights its a good thing to get closer so you can meatshot him and inmediatly quick melee them, that way you have 5 shots in reserve instead of 4, giving you more opportunities on the rest of the fight (and making it a little less punishing if you miss a shot afterwards), also killing a light this way is faster and you can prevent the potential of receiving more damage or to escape quicker if you need to.
Crazy editing and solid advice, this has been my favorite weapon since the beta. Landing those shots feel wicked and mastering the mediums movement items feel equally rewarding 😭😭 my loadout is Dematerializer, 1887, pyro grenade, pumppad and zipline (healing beam and defib when I’m playing tournament) - pyro helps a lot for those reload times u mentioned ! Zone off doorways to buy a bit of time, or get some finishing damage in if you whiffed a shot or two
One of my favorite weapons, very satisfying to use. This might not be a popular choice but I’d love to see a masterclass video for the medium revolver. Thanks for the great content 🙏
This is such a good guide that I wish it always worked considering 8 times out of ten, 4 of the random players I play with are mostly lights with bows or snipers
Your editing is so sick. Only aspect you missed is the point blank shotgun and melee combo. You can kill a light with this and get a medium to one-shot.
My favourite weapon. Most of the time my loadout is dematerializer, 1887, gas mines jumpad and defib. Mines are amazing with 1887 because you can destroy them in one shot.
Thats awesome, I did not even think about using mines. I usually launch gas cannisters and shoot them, but mines make so much more sense. Definitely will be incorporating them thank you!
I use to be a crack head with this gun, sadly I started playing ranked and now this weapon can't be used. Thank you for giving me the energy to use this again!
Yes, you can but if you don’t have teammates for distraction or cover fire. It is difficult to consistently close gaps in some maps. So yes, it very viable in ranked. However needs a team to reach its maximum potential in every map.
great masterclass, i love you so much man i stopped using the model because i found it hard to track opponents due to low frames per second, but ill try to move past that and just firm the lag and still use this weapon!

Yep I wish rotobrush was a bit more accurate in cutting out objects otherwise the process wouldn’t take so long. Some 10 sec segments take legit 2+ hours 😔.
Had a blast making this masterclass and the more I learned about the weapon the more fun I started having. Hope you all find this useful!😁
Hey i found out that if you have no bullets in your mag, you reload faster than if you only had 1 bullet remaining
Definitely earned a subscribe, lovely video

@@linked3 Easier to hit shots with a weapon like the model
@@linked3 I'm gonna assume he said that because of the range of the 1887
@@breakout8904 @xSTONYTARKx the model has crazy good in-air-accuracy, that's why I like playing it with mobility gadgets like the launchpad
