Vorstellung TRC Knives Splinter XS Messer

Seit 25.09.2015 haben wir die kleinere Version des TRC Splinter. Hier zeige ich euch eine reine Produktvorstellung. Vom Messer starten wir jetzt in Zusammenarbeit mit dem tacticalforum.de, bushcraft-deutschland.de und 2 Usern von unserer Facebookgruppe einen Passaround mit Tests aus dem Anwendungsbereich.
Das TRC Splinter XS hat folgende Eigenschaften:
Klingenstahl: Böhler N690
Klingenlänge: ca. 92mm
Gesamtlänge ca. 205mm
Griff: G10 Tiger Stripe oder Canvas green bzw. black
Flachschliff
Härte: 59-60 HRC
Klingenstärke: 3,4mm
Gewicht: Messer: 116g mit Kydex 163g
Sonstiges: Zertifikat + Kydex mit demontierbarem Lederdengler

Nice review. I'm a big fan of TRC knives and this one looks very interesting. What happened to the pass-around. I can't find the video's on it. I'm Dutch, do speak German (in fact we spoke at Jackknife's house) but I prefer to speak English to reach a bigger audience. Kinda eye-balling this knife for my next trip to Colombia mainly because of the good kydex sheath. Last time I tested an Enzo and the knife worked great and the leather sheath held up but I can definitely see a long term problem with the leather and humidity. Anyway. Atb from Holland

Hi Steve... i think you was it right? I don´t know who has make some review about this knives. But this knife is not longer produced. In this time the XS comes in Micarta or black G10

+messerdepot. Hello Sven. Yes Stevan (Steve) here. Could't make it to Jackknife this year because I was in Colombia. I did see some changes to the kydex as in a fabric belt loop in stead of leather and for Colombia that's only good. Very humid there where I was. Leather will not last in the long run.
It looks like a pretty perfect knife as a companion knife to carry next to the machete. You do want a machete there. But for bread and butter fish, smaal game and general food prep this knife seems awesome.
I must admit I have no experience with the steel though. How does it hold up?

Als ich sowas das erste Mal in den Händen hatte, hab ich allerdings den Druckknopf ebenfalls nicht aufbekommen :) Da muss man den Bogen raus haben, dann geht das relativ einfach
