- Military gun salutes rang out across the United Kingdom as King Charles III was crowned during the coronation ceremony.
A fanfare was played, and Westminster Abbey's bells rang for two minutes after the crowning, with gun salutes fired from nearby Horse Guards Parade, the Tower of London and saluting stations across the nation, and from warships at sea.

0:45 that smoke ring is cool
God save the King. As always the Forces came up trumps yesterday. In every way, the men and women of our Services were
exceptional. I hope and wish that they all got back safe and sound and managed a good warm up and good meal.
There goes this month's allotment of shells.
What else would we be using them for?
Try year's :P
@@cliffordwebb3656 The Fuzzy Wuzzies always ran when the cannons shot blanks.
@@abrahamdozer6273 They didn't break a British square by running away.
Who else saw that cool smoke ring
God Save The KING 🙏🥂🥂🍾🍾❤❤ from Canada

I liked the smoke ring! Were they aiming towards France? 😂
I wish 😂😂
France is busy ripping itself apart. They don't need our help. 😅
That's what I was gonna comment looked cool AF
@Otuso No offence, but where has the translation disappeared to on RUclips?
Long live King Charles and queen Camila 🙏🙏🎉
The Thumbnail looked like they weren't shooting salutes, but like they were bombarding the coronation.
Nice touch firing next to stone henge…not
Can someone tell my why some of them has those weird white lab suits on?
Hardly any church bells ring anymore though.
Sadly yeah but at least some is batter then none at all
There’s a huge shortage of bell ringers in the UK, which goes a long way to explaining why.
Most churches are boarded up, majority of the population don't believe it anymore.
@@frankie._.4167 Aye 👍.
@@greva2904 Yep bell ringing is a great experience it was awesome.
The matelots still think covids about 😜🇬🇧

Ceremony not circumstance, thanks for lowering my iq
The Tories have underfunded the Military so much, we now have no more shells for the year!

Spare me
Nobody asked you to comment, little man
King of what? 😅😅😅
The United Kingdom. Sure he doesn't have any real power but that's what he is considered king of. Perhaps there is more but I'm American so I'm not super family with the royal family or how it works.
We’ll if you just didn’t witness a few hours ago. Then I don’t know what else to say
@@Spartan265 He has powers over our nations policy and is head of our armed forces. He has real power but also as our sovereign liege lord just not the modern expectation to abuse it.
It's 2023 and they still are crowning a "king" hahahahaha, brits are so engrossed with horrifically out of date government concepts. Unable to let go of a system that the entire world outgrew centuries ago. Believe it or not crumpet dunkers, its possible to have reverence and respect your older traditions without continually forcing the out of date concepts on your society.
The United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and 10 other countries
Who cares charles
Charles is only for british soil
Not other countries .
This man (Charles ) is so ordinary.
I wish our US president thought like that, even if just a little bit.
Got you though.
@@barry5787 we're all doomed with most of our worlds leaders. I felt your grief.
This guy is definitely a salty boi living in a commonwealth realm
What?
The beautiful coronation ceremony was dampened by the treatment of The Duke of Susex...it was sad to see Harry regulated to sitting behind the feather. I find him noble of character. Generous spirited. A man of principle...he can be all those qualities without the approval of the royals. William and Kate tow the line. As heir to the throne, that is expected. If would have been a grand gesture to extend the olive branch...by his majesty, but that did not happen in a real way. Hopefully, real reforms can take place with the monarchy. Hopefully, one dau, we will see real healing in this family.❤️👑🇬🇧
Harry and his wife have gone out of their way to damage, discredit, and disparage the Royal family, his family, as publicly as possible. The Public are angry with him, and no doubt his family are. He made his bed, now he has to lie in it. I agree he was a really good Royal, and I respected him greatly, considering his active military service. But my god, when he hitched his wagon to Meghan Markle he lost the plot.
Are you kidding? Harry’s behaved like a complete bell end, done his best to publicly trash his own family, and now you think they’re going to welcome him back with open arms?! Get real.
You do know that as a NON WORKING member of the Royal family he sat with the other NON WORKING members of the same family. Why would he be in the front rows with all the WORKING members of the family? And why did he come on his own, why not bring his wife and kids along for the weekend?
Viva la república
When Spain got rid of their Royal family it was replaced by a brutal dictator.
Don't be so childish.
Yes and get Franko? 😅 GSTK I'm visiting Gibraltar in June 😜

Ooooooh was there carrots in it.
