My method was to save up, travel less often and look for a good deal. Usually, business class is 3-4 times as expensive as economy so I only go once every four years!

Very cool !! I flew in the same seat once from Dubai to Singapore and had the Ambassador of Singapore to UAE seated in front of me. No special escort for him though..
Not a huge fan of the music with vocals during the flight review itself - not sure if others feel the same way, but I like to not hear any vocals and just some nice relaxing beats

I agree with you, I recently flew on a 777 business class flight and I realized the service was relatively similar in terms of food and bedding. Of course this is a very short flight in your case and therefore I understand this in a way.
In Europe, everybody would be happy to have this kind of premium product on 4 hours flight. On FRA - TLV of - CAI they sell economy seats for business class prices.
So in terms of the food, as you probably know, airlines sort of arbitrarily pick a cut off point for more service and I believe that is at four hours. Could be the reason why you received a less than impressive congee!?

Wow, quite something 1st class. Just had four Emirates flights, Newcastle UK > Dubai > Maldives then return. Food terrible, service poor, average films... Much prefer Turkish airlines economy if only they flew through Dubai and not Istanbul! Top marks for airport hotel in Dubai though :) Love your videos.

But compared to the new first class in the 777 it is better than the older one. Also you should do more Ethihad videos. I think we don't have enough flight reviewers for that airline. Yes indeed it’s the best first class suite and it’s getting better n better every year.. I think emirates is one of the best flights I’ve been on. I think Qatar airways as the same but their first class n business class is totally different maybe in terms of service or their products I just feel that emirates is a little better than Qatar..!! Oh stop. You did not pay $20,000 for such a short haul First class flight. Currently, Dubai to Colombo in First on Emirates is about $2,300 USD. Sure it's still $2K, but not the $20,000 that you mentioned. I would like to think that if it were a long haul F, you would indeed have been provided with an amenity kit.
May I ask why you of all people should chose to fly Emirates? Are you trying to get thrown off a rooftop? The best thing you could do is give them ZERO airtime.

I think the A380 first is better than the 777. The closed in area is nothing special. I love the idea of a shower at 10000 m in a A380 over a 777 journey.
Henning Kaasa I am not so fussed about the noise. That’s what noise cancelling headphones are for, and many love the sounds of the engines roaring on takeoff. I can understand if you are unable to sleep because of the noise but I can sleep through anything.

First class is the most sensible way to spend your ten thousands if you are flying. That's a lot of duty free products!
